The overall experience was a delightful surprise! The room had excellent natural light, the decor was simple and comfortable, the bathroom had plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were fully stocked. Summer, one of the staff members, was gentle and patient, and responded quickly to any requests. The hotel itself was quiet and elegant, I slept incredibly well in the bed, and parking was very convenient for getting around. It's truly suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

Facilities: Excellent! The location is super convenient. It's right next to Seomun Market, and only about a 10-minute walk to the Water Market. The famous 'Instagram wall' isn't far either, so you can easily stroll there. There are also well-known restaurants nearby, like Hanjeong Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup). Hygiene: The room was very clean and tidied frequently. Service: The service was truly outstanding. They would escort us to the elevator when we left, and helped us with getting water. They even gave us frozen pears and frozen persimmons to eat, and the persimmon and frozen pear juices were delicious. Breakfast was also very hearty. I'm genuinely impressed! The room was spacious too. I was traveling with my mom, and they remembered that she likes hot tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. I was so pleased. We initially only booked for one night, but decided to extend our stay immediately after arriving.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to department stores, the West Market, Baiyu BBQ skewers, and Zhenhai Bay. You can also take the BRT to the famous 'Influencer Wall' nearby. Dining out and ordering takeout are both very convenient. Upon arrival, we were offered welcome coffee because our room wasn't ready yet. The entire hotel has a very tasteful style, with a 'morning coffee, evening alcohol' bar on the first floor. The room was new and very clean, and despite facing the road, it was quiet. A nice guesthouse run by an elderly couple. We stayed twice for one night while waiting for a connecting flight. It's a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. The room is small, but everything is clean and tidy, with fresh linens. You can leave your luggage after checkout, and we spent some time exploring the city before our return flight. We checked in quite late because our flight arrived late, but that wasn't a problem. The only inconvenience was that the cafes within walking distance of the hotel close early in the evening.

I had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.) I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel... I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08. Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc. After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.
