The food at the inn was not particularly sophisticated. However, the service from the female staff who worked there was good. It was by no means refined. It was the friendly and good-natured attitude of a local fishing port woman. The baths are custom-made for each room. I felt the bliss of being able to bathe whenever I wanted, 24 hours a day. The bath was good. The room we stayed in was 6 tatami mats, but for an Osaka local, it's not too big for two people. The bath was even bigger and very good. The hot spring is weakly alkaline, but it leaves your skin feeling smooth after the bath. We had a kaiseki meal in our room, which was very filling and very satisfying.
