Stayed here recently and had a really lovely time. The rooms are spotless, well-designed, and kept in great shape. Being in Building #2 gave us a quiet, beautiful view of the valley, so it’s super peaceful for resting. Honestly, what really stood out was how amazing the staff are. They were so warm, friendly, and went out of their way to look after us and help out with anything we needed. It made a huge difference. The location is super handy too—getting a Didi over to Hongcun or the bamboo forest takes less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was a nice bonus every morning. You get a solid traditional Chinese setup where you choose noodles or porridge, and it comes with fresh orange juice, coffee, mantou, and jiaozi. Wonderful place and the hospitality was top-notch.

The guesthouse is located near the Tachuan Scenic Area and has its own viewing platform offering panoramic views of the white-walled, black-tiled Hui-style houses, green mountains, and blue skies with white clouds. When we visited, it was after the rain, and the view from the large windows of our room was breathtaking – lush green trees and mountain mists that sometimes drifted in and sometimes dissipated.
