This location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.

Hongcun is full of Chinese New Year flavors, so you can shop and eat to your heart’s content. A room in the B&B has two floors, with a large bed and a single bed on the upper floor, which is enough for two people to sleep. There were also fairy wands and fireworks in the evening, and my sister was very satisfied. 😄

The room is a small attic on the second floor and has a lot of space. There is a large bed and a small bed upstairs. The bathroom is on the first floor, clean and tidy.
But the slight drawback is that the room's sound insulation is poor. It's noisy when going up the stairs or walking around on the second floor, and you can hear the sounds from next door. When there was a noise next door, the boss also went to deal with it.
