Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier

This is my third stay here, and now it's basically my top choice whenever I visit Yokohama. First off, the location is excellent, right in Minato Mirai. The hotel is on a higher floor, so the views are quite good. Yokohama Museum of Art is right across the street, and it was super convenient to pop over for an exhibition this time. The room is also quite spacious. The toiletries provided this time were Italian, with a nice scent and quite effective. Breakfast is more Western-style; it looks like there's a lot of food, but the variety isn't actually that extensive. I hope they can add more options. Overall, it's still very good and a comfortable hotel.

Right across from the Yokohama Museum of Art and Landmark Tower, the location is super convenient. I couldn't find any parking though. My early morning flight arrived very early, and when I went to drop off my luggage, the breakfast restaurant was still serving. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the view from the 20th-floor reception was absolutely stunning. Even more surprising was that I could see Mount Fuji 🗻 from my room in the distance! I stayed for two nights; I saw Mount Fuji on the first day, and then a rainbow 🌈 appeared early on the second morning – it was breathtakingly beautiful. For the price, the value for money is outstanding, and the breakfast is also very rich. They say you need to book a time slot for dining, but on weekdays and non-holidays, it's fine to just walk in without a reservation. Very accommodating. On the third day, I moved to the Millennium in Ginza, but I definitely preferred this Yokohama hotel. It's truly excellent.

The views are fantastic! The lobby has a great view, and the room also offers excellent scenery. However, the entrance was a bit hard to find. You have to pick up the disposable amenities yourself, but overall, it's still very good.

The hotel is very close to the sea, and you can walk directly from Sakuragicho Station to the hotel entrance via an elevated walkway. Taking the cable car at night to see the night view is beautiful. The breakfast is rich, and the triple room is spacious and comfortable.

The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. There's an art gallery and a shopping mall right downstairs, and all major landmarks are within walking distance. Dining options are plentiful; you can open a map app to check ratings and make reservations. We booked a room with laundry facilities, but the room itself was incredibly small. Once luggage was in, there was barely any space to move around, which would be quite inconvenient if you're traveling with children. I'd definitely recommend booking a larger room, especially since there's also a shared laundry room on each floor. One thing I'd like to complain about is that this hotel seems to be a popular spot for influencers, as it's always crowded, even outside of holidays. There's an outdoor hot tub that's quite popular online, requiring a reservation to enter. However, this pool is on the same floor as the check-in area, and the terrace is connected with no barriers. This means that while you're posing in your swimwear, the long line of people checking in have a full view of you, almost like they're observing you through a glass. Plus, non-guests can also access that terrace to take photos. For introverted people, this can be quite awkward. So, if you're coming here primarily for photos, you might not even need to stay at the hotel; booking a table at their restaurant or having a drink at their lobby bar would suffice.
