Richmond Hotel Yokohama Ekimae

I particularly loved that the room had a separate wet and dry area. The bathroom featured both a basin and a bathtub, which was incredibly convenient as two people could shower at the same time. Self check-in was available. Cleaning requests had to be made via the TV, which was a minor inconvenience. The front desk staff spoke decent English. The curry rice and tofu soup at breakfast were quite tasty. If you're visiting Yokohama, staying here is actually more convenient than Minatomirai. Recommended!

The weekday rates are very attractive, and the location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from Yokohama Station, surrounded by many shopping malls. There's a drugstore downstairs, a breakfast restaurant on the second floor, and even a Torikizoku (yakitori restaurant) if you're craving grilled skewers. Plus, there are plenty of other great restaurants nearby offering delicious food at reasonable prices.

The location is very convenient. It's a straight shot from Yokohama Station's central exit – just turn right and keep walking. I found it easier than trying to navigate the underground passages to the West Exit. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby. However, I personally don't like the noisy, crowded environment around here at night. The room itself was nice, not small for Japan, and the facilities were good. If I don't have an early morning travel plan next time, I might consider staying in the Minatomirai area instead.

This 27 sqm room is perfect for a family of three. The hotel's surroundings, facilities, and location are exactly as described in other reviews. There's a Yakiniku Like restaurant right downstairs, which is a Japanese chain BBQ joint with another branch in Zhongguancun Darong City. It offers great value for money, though the dining environment is pretty standard. I've actually been to one of their branches in Fukuoka as well.

The room was spotless, with three customizable lighting modes. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was spacious and comfortable. You could pick up wonderfully scented bath salts from the lobby. Various amenities were also available in the lobby, though bath caps weren't provided (they offered small hair ties, but they might not work for very long hair). Breakfast was at ROYAL HOST downstairs, which I think belongs to the same group as the hotel. I looked it up, and it seems to be an old-school, affordable Western-style restaurant. The selection wasn't huge, but the food was delicious, and the curry rice was particularly satisfying! It's super convenient, very close to Yokohama Station!

Five-star review! The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is close to the JR station. The room size was also surprisingly good. The laundry room was clean and easy to use, and the dryer was very efficient.

The room was much more spacious than average, which was a big plus. It was also very quiet, not near any train tracks. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies. The soundproofing was good too, and there's a water dispenser on every floor, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, it's great value for money.
