We had a excellent stay with a wonderful service from the Hotel staff. They picked us up from the Train Station and even bring us back there the day we leave. The Hotel is located perfectly at the Waterfall and Ancient Town. You have a beautiful view on the Waterfall from the balcony and also from the breakfast area. Everything is easy to reach nearby in the Ancient Town. The driver even help us buying the Ticket for the Ancient Town. We had a pleasant stay and highly recommend to stay at least one night in this beautiful Town to fully feel and enjoy the atmosphere at day and night. We also recommend to stay in this Hotel for a wonderful stay. Use Wechat to communicate easily with the Hotel staff, it worked very well for us.

Room is very old and dirty
In fact, we could see the previous hotel’s name still on the door sign and the shower door: “Floral Hotel”. It seems it was bought over and not even replaced.
We found a cockroach in the room!
Our room, 203, was four floors down from the entrance of the old building reception. It is actually just one floor above the entrance to the waterfall where you can literally hear the noisy tour groups talking as they exit the waterfall.
But to get to the waterfall entrance you can’t just go down the steps to the ground floor which is a retail shop. You have to go back up the four floors to the higher level road, then walk back down via the external flight of steps to the waterfall entrance.
Furong is already a town with many many up and down steps. Walking four floors (8 flights of steps) down from entrance of hotel is tiring especially for people with mobility problems. I would suggest to the hotel to allow for a second entrance from the shop on ground floor to go up.
Overall we only stayed a night. So it was still acceptable. I really wanted to like this hotel due to the many good reviews, But I cannot recommend this hotel due to above reasons. We stayed in November 2024.

PPierguido⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Furong!
We stayed at this lovely family-run B&B and couldn’t have chosen a better place! The property is truly charming and full of character, with clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated rooms, each with its own unique touch that reflects the authentic atmosphere of Furong village. The bathroom was modern and spotless, which is not always easy to find in small rural towns.
The location was perfect, right in front of the main entrance to Furong Ancient Town, which made visiting the old streets incredibly convenient and enjoyable.
The host was absolutely wonderful — she welcomed us with a delicious cup of tea and a warm smile that immediately made us feel at home. She even offered us a free pick-up from the train station when we arrived, and kindly helped us purchase the entrance tickets to the old town at a discounted price.
When our flight was unexpectedly moved to 6 a.m., she also went out of her way to find us a reliable driver at half the price of those listed on Trip.com!
And to make our stay even more special, at check-out she gifted us two lovely tea holders with their local tea, a thoughtful gesture that we’ll always remember as a symbol of her warmth and hospitality.
It’s rare to find such genuine kindness and care — we truly felt like guests, not just customers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience in the beautiful village of Furong.

XXuelicenThis hotel offers a super convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Furong Ancient Town. It's definitely a much better choice than staying inside the town, where guesthouses often cost upwards of 1000 RMB and can get quite noisy at night due to bars and the constant sound of the waterfall. Staying here, just outside, ensures a peaceful night's sleep.
The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station. It has nearly 200 rooms, and while the corridors aren't air-conditioned, the in-room AC works very well and keeps the rooms cool. A gym and laundry room are available. A convenient feature is facial recognition for room entry, so no key card is needed! They also have a tea room where you can brew your own tea.
Breakfast is officially until 9:30 AM, but they usually don't clear it until around 10 AM. I'd recommend they just officially extend the breakfast hours to 10 AM.
The only minor issue was the very weak water pressure in the shower.

BBibiBrakiWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are very modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a great view of the old town. We even received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The service was excellent and very attentive, and the free shuttle to the train station was very convenient.
The location is quiet and peaceful, yet only a 5-minute walk to the old town – which is actually perfect, since the old town can get quite noisy at night with loud music. The hotel also has a nice pool, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is available, though it mainly consists of Chinese dishes.
Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The staff are extremely helpful, using Chinese-English translation efficiently to show us what places to see around the town. Breakfast is basic ( only Chinese style): boiled eggs, fried eggs, dumplings, baobuns and coffee(no tea) and some fruits(small plums). The room is spacious with clean and comfortable beds. The hotel is only some minute walk to the waterfall and the square. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and good value for money! We would stay again if we come back this town.Thank you for insect repellant gifts!

The owner is a beautiful Tujia ethnic minority. Before we even arrived in Furong Town, she messaged us asking if we had any requests for our stay, whether she would pick us up at the station, and whether she would buy tickets for us. She was incredibly thoughtful. The beautiful owner is also very diligent. She washes her own quilts and sheets, which still smell faintly of disinfectant and sunlight. It was truly reassuring. We've been on many trips and haven't encountered any other hotel pick-up or drop-off service at the station, but we experienced it at Xile Meisu B&B in Furong Town, which was truly touching. It was a wonderful trip to Furong Town.

KKaitlyn555I really enjoyed staying here. Affordable price, great location and friendly, helpful service. The staff picked me up from the train station - he was waiting for me and communicates via wechat, he will help you buy your entry ticket to the scenic area on the way to the inn, he carried my 25kg suitcase up some stairs and wheeled it to my room. Room is as pictured / advertised but bonus that it has a western toilet too - very happy. The view is wonderful, feels like youre in the country village but less than 15min walk to the waterfall scenic area.
I arrived at 12.30pm and explore Furong for about 4hrs including lunch and watched x3 10min performances then went back to the inn for shower and rest. Went out again around 7pm for quick dinner and x2 night shows. The 9pm show in the theatre is really good. Make sure you carry your paper ticket at all times as theres many checkpoints - staff scan qr code on ticket. You can enter/exit as many times as you like within 3 days.
Do stay at a local homestay type place to support the residents here. Its a great experience and a nice change from hotels. Honest! Its also a great way to immerse yourself with the people when travelling through China.

The owners took me to the train station for free too, I did try to add them on we chat to see if they could pick me up as i got into furong very late, but they didnt add me, luckily there were taxis outside 🙏😊 The lady is so friendly as took me straight to the ticket counter when I arrived!

The corridors were laid with thick carpets, muffling footsteps, and adorned with elegant ink paintings. Soft, warm lighting cast a gentle glow, making walks through them exceptionally soothing.
Our guest room was clean and cozy. Stepping onto the balcony opened onto the viewing platform – wooden railings framed a lush bamboo grove. Tall, straight bamboo stalks with densely layered leaves swayed and rustled gently in the breeze. Standing there, surrounded by such vibrant greenery, even the air felt crisper. In the evening, the setting sun cast golden patches through the gaps in the leaves, with the shifting light and shadow creating the illusion of a secluded haven. On the fifth floor, there's another viewing platform offering panoramic vistas of Furong Town. Guests can also enjoy complimentary karaoke, singing while admiring the views and dining – we were absolutely thrilled with this experience!
The service was a significant highlight. At check-in, the front desk readily shared tips on the best viewing times for the platforms. The cleaning staff were quiet and respectful while tidying and even discreetly swept fallen leaves from the balcony. When we wanted to sit on the viewing platform, staff promptly brought rattan cushions – every detail reflected their thoughtful consideration.
Overall, this place seamlessly blends natural tranquility with warm, attentive service, ensuring a supremely comfortable stay. We'll definitely be back here on our next trip. This stay stands out as one of the most satisfying travel experiences I've had, even compared to numerous famous attractions I've visited!
