Hotels in Furong Ancient Town, Yongshun

Can not say enough good things about this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff and the facilities were amazing. Very friendly atmosphere, really nice rooms - rustic charm but clean, everything worked, great bathroom with plenty of hot water, nice balcony, and in the morning a great breakfast - a good choice of cereal, coffee, bao, eggs, congee, and with additional food made on-demand by the kitchen staff. The hotel is very well located right in the middle of the old town / scenic area, and the staff helped arrange pre-ordering and payment of the scenic area tickets (at a small discount), along with free collection from the train station. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here if you’re visiting Furong.

For me the place was perfect: very close to the drop off point from taxis, so you don't have to walk for too long with the luggage, and walking distance from everywhere - the town is really small. Lili and the staff were super kind and helpful with everything. They also arranged a car to drive me back to the station. Maybe the only improbable thing is that they could share arrival information once they accept the booking: to access the ancient town you need to pay 108 yuan and many people arriving didn't know. This is not to sleep in the hotel, it's just to access the town, so everyone has to do it. But for me it's been great!

Location is inside the attraction so we needed to buy the attraction entry ticket before we can checked into our hotel. Host was hospitable. Even sent us to the train station the next day. Service is exceptional to say the least! It’s a small business. The owner seems to do everything herself. Receptionist work and handling our luggage to sending us to the train station is all done by her. Hotel room have amazing view absolutely love it. But amenities are lacking. No toilet floor rug so was given a pee pad as a floor rug instead.

We had a great time here, the view at the waterfall facing room is so beautiful that we didn’t want to leave the window table, we sat there the entire night having take away food and drinks until the lights turned of at midnight. Most beautiful view we have ever seen at a hotel and we do travel a lot. The staff were very nice and helpful, they picked us up from the railway and dropped us off. They gave us a bottle of wine and some cute roses because we were there for our honeymoon. We would love to come back!

It was from far the best place I’ve stayed in my whole trip to China. It’s exactly inside the scenic area (so please note that you need to buy the ticket to enter in this area to be able to get in the hotel, and the area is full of stairs and only walking, so you’ll need to carry all your luggage). The room is big and comfortable, great shower, all the amenities, staff is amazing and helpful, even providing tips about which performances are better to see. The view is stunning: you see the waterfalls from your balcony. I loved the place, feel grateful for find it. Great location! The owner goes the extra mile by arranging pick-up from the train station and is always ready to assist with any problems or questions. Furong Ancient Town is quite small, making it incredibly convenient to get to the waterfall from the hotel. Plus, they can help you book discounted tickets.

We had a excellent stay with a wonderful service from the Hotel staff. They picked us up from the Train Station and even bring us back there the day we leave. The Hotel is located perfectly at the Waterfall and Ancient Town. You have a beautiful view on the Waterfall from the balcony and also from the breakfast area. Everything is easy to reach nearby in the Ancient Town. The driver even help us buying the Ticket for the Ancient Town. We had a pleasant stay and highly recommend to stay at least one night in this beautiful Town to fully feel and enjoy the atmosphere at day and night. We also recommend to stay in this Hotel for a wonderful stay. Use Wechat to communicate easily with the Hotel staff, it worked very well for us.

Thanks to the enthusiastic boss, who picked us up from the Furong Town High-speed Railway Station and sent us back. It was very convenient and considerate. When traveling to Furong Town, the food was so-so, but the accommodation was indeed comfortable, and very comfortable. The homestay is newly renovated and has new facilities. The layout inside is not available in ordinary hotels. They are all large open rooms, but the bath 🛀🏻 bathtub is right next to the floor-to-ceiling window, and the washbasin just separates the entrance hall and the bathroom part, dry and wet separation, and the toilet and bathroom are separated from each other, with strong privacy. The mirror is double-sided, which is convenient for makeup and washing. The projection screen meets our entertainment needs. The enthusiastic boss also recommended places to eat, map navigation, performance schedules and other information for us. Remind everyone that Furong Town charges tickets. We didn't pay attention to it before. It's 100 yuan per person. Free tickets for those under 14 years old. It's mainly to see the waterfall. You need to swipe your ID card. The boss can buy discount tickets for you. Contact in advance. The performance of Baishoutang is recommended to watch at 8 pm. You can walk under the waterfall and wear waterproof shoes. It's very cool!

Great location as it’s right at the beginning of the ancient town. Very beautiful wooden building. Close to restaurants and sightseeing. Free upgrade on the room and free railway station transfers which is essential as my friend was significantly overcharged on a taxi from the train station as her guesthouse didn’t offer transfers. They even collected me from the train station when I went on a day trip. Can be a little noisy at night due to being located next to a bbq restaurant but I imagine most hotels in the area are similar due to the nature of older buildings.

Highly recommended! Since I wasn't familiar with the directions, I asked a taxi driver for help, and he kindly called the guesthouse for me. To my surprise, the owner came out to meet us at the entrance of Furongzhen area. The owner was incredibly kind! She helped us purchase entrance tickets, guided us to the guesthouse, and showed us to our room. Sje even shared his WeChat contact and introduced the neighborhood. When I had trouble entering the room, he solved the issue quickly. Before we left, she arranged a ride to the high-speed rail station, making our entire stay very convenient and comfortable. It’s very close to Tuwang Bridge, and the sound of the waterfall could be heard clearly — it was a refreshing and unique experience. --- 最近我在热门的芙蓉镇住了一晚。 因为我不太会认路，就问了出租车司机方向，司机非常好心地打电话给了我的住宿地。没想到老板亲自到步涌镇旅游区的入口来接我们！ 老板真的非常热情！她帮我们买了景区门票，还带我们到住宿地点并介绍了房间。她加了我的微信，还介绍了周边环境。我遇到房门打不开的问题时，她也及时帮我解决了。临走时，他还帮我们安排了去高铁站的车，非常贴心，让我们的住宿体验非常舒适。 这里离土王桥很近，还能一直听到瀑布的声音，非常清凉、特别的体验。 强烈推荐！
