Room was to small bed should off been. Queen that is what I thought I’d book it was a double.

I encountered something in your hotel that deeply disappointed and disturbed her. I have stayed in your hotel for more than two weeks and booked a room for ten nights. However, it appears that my loyalty and patronage were met with a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy by your hotel staff this morning. The incident happened on March 13 at around 10:25am when I came downstairs for breakfast. Despite being a regular customer, the waiter informed me that breakfast service was ending. So she quickly placed her order, finished her meal efficiently in about 15 minutes, and left the dining area. As I left the dining area, I encountered three waitresses stationed at the bar. Out of politeness, she politely said "thank you." However, to her surprise and disappointment, none of the waiters thanked me for my gesture and continued working without a response. It must be noted that there were no other customers in the restaurant at the time, thus eliminating possible disruption from external noise. Still, I got no response. While walking to the elevator, I overheard an attendant imitating my accent and saying an insincere "thank you." This disrespectful behavior left her feeling extremely insulted and racially profiled. After returning to my room, I felt that I had been treated unfairly and was disappointed with the rude behavior of your employees. It is unacceptable for any guest, especially one who has been staying at your hotel for a long time, to be treated like this. I am determined to make a formal complaint regarding this matter. In light of this incident, I urge this Indigo to take immediate action to address this issue. Staff at this hotel must undergo training to improve their professionalism, courtesy and sensitivity to guests. Every guest should be treated with respect and fairly, regardless of race or ethnicity. I am confident that the hotel will investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate measures to ensure that this type of incident does not happen again in the future. Additionally, I kindly request that you formally apologize to me for the distress this matter has caused me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Stay was wonderful, a bit confused why the beds weren’t made when room service visited, but other than that, it was clean, cosy and smelt nice!

They’re okay but not sure if £100 a pricy but everything just about right. The car park full of small rock so maybe a bit careful

The hotel is very cozy, the room and bed are very comfortable, and the breakfast is rich. Especially recommended here in York, very close to many attractions. There are many restaurants and cafes around.

Very good, my friend likes this decoration style very much, and the price/performance ratio is quite high. The only thing is that the soundproofing of the room is not very good, you can hear the snoring next door.

I booked a room with a double bed and a sofa bed, but it turned out to be a small suite with two beds, not in the same room. The sofa bed room is more cozy and the facilities are all indigo standard, retro and British style. The hotel is in a good location and is walking distance from the attractions. It only takes a taxi to the train station. Recommended semi-buffet breakfast for 6-8 pounds. Full breakfast. Recommend delicious Chinese food near the hotel.

A well-designed hotel in the city of York. It is convenient to walk to the city walls or various attractions in the city. It was the best hotel to experience during this trip to the UK.

Except for the service, everything else was okay, but the service at the front desk was very poor. When I checked in, a lady at the front desk said she wanted to see the bank card I used to pay, so I gave it to her. After she read the name and other information on it, , after I explained that I only wanted to stay in the hotel and no other services were required, she actually put my card against the POS machine. If I hadn’t stopped her in time, I don’t know what she was going to do? The lady working at the front desk on the afternoon of the 21st, please give me an explanation. The other things are okay, but the reception service is very bad, when I checked in, a lady at the reception said to look at my payment card, so I gave her, she looked at the above name and other information, after I have explained that I only need to stay in the hotel and do not need other services, she also lean on my card to the POS machine, if not I stopped in time, I do not know what she is going to do? It seems that she wants to make a payment without my agreement !!!! The lady who worked at the reception on the afternoon of the 21st December , please give me an explanation.

Lovely hotel . Cannot really say anything negative about about it . I ve stayed in many many hotels over the years with work so I am very welltravelled . The staff are very helpful and friendly . Location is great . Very nice buffet and a La carte breakfast . We had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon this morning and it was cooked to perfection . Parking is £15 a night . I was a little worried about finding a car parking space due to some of the reviews I had read . The area is very small so I am not sure how it will work if the hotel is very busy albeit we did not have a problem. Check in was very smooth and quick without any issues . I will definitely return and would recommend . We stayed for 2 nights .

The room is overall good, but the paintings on the wall are weird
