Very pleasantly surprised, the room was very clean and the layout seemed very attentive. Many small things seemed to be carefully selected. The boss was very interesting hahaha. He introduced us to where there were delicious and fun things to eat. It was really delicious when we tried it. We went back too late at night and there was no car, so the boss went to pick us up. It was a great experience! ! It's right next to the train station, less than five minutes' walk away. You can take the bus to Longtan Ancient Town and Youyang County right at the door. I also highly recommend going to Longtan Ancient Town, the people there are so nice!

The hotel facilities are also complete, the room is clean and tidy, and every point of the room type meets our expectations. It is very comfortable to look at the beautiful scenery of Wujiang River on the balcony and feel the passage of time. The kittens in the store are very cute and especially friendly. They came out to greet us at night. Last but not least! They actually sent us breakfast in the morning. It was really delicious, the portion was large and the types were rich. I was very satisfied! GGuest UserFor those of us who have been to many ancient towns and stayed in many homestays, the service of this inn is really speechless. Because we were traveling with 5 elderly people, I was very selective when booking the B&B in Gongtan Ancient Town. After seeing the introduction and pictures of the inn, I thought the hardware (separate wet and dry areas in the toilet and bathroom, shower with heater) was good. I also read everyone's comments saying that the service was also very good, so I finally decided to choose Xirongxuan. However, all the unpleasantness started from the second call to the boss. We arrived at the parking lot around 5 o'clock after visiting the Three Natural Bridges and the Ground Crack. Our chartered car driver asked me to contact the boss to pick us up. According to previous experience, when entering the ancient town, the boss or staff would usually come out to pick us up. However, when I called the boss for the first time, the boss specified that we get off at the north gate parking lot and let us take the scenic area's sightseeing bus to the homestay (2 yuan per person). Okay, no problem, we came in by ourselves. However, there were only cars but no drivers in the parking lot. I looked around but didn't see anyone. I had no choice but to call the boss again. At this time, the boss still emphasized that I should find a driver. When I said there was no one, he reluctantly said, ”Then I'll pick you up.” After waiting for a few minutes, the boss finally showed up. Knowing that there were six of us, he drove a small car that could only seat four at most, including the luggage. I said that some of us could wait for him in the parking lot and asked him to pick us up again. The boss's answer was, ”The other two of you can walk in by yourselves. It's only a few hundred meters away.” Oh my God, he asked us to find it by ourselves in an ancient town we had never been to, not to mention how tired we were after climbing the mountain for a whole day. After my repeated requests, the boss said that he would pick me up again, but I had to wait (I later learned that because it was a one-way street, he had to go around in a circle, so he was unwilling to do so). I brought three elders and followed the boss to the B&B first. The boss dropped us off at the bottom of the B&B. Only then did I realize that it was a long and steep flight of steps to get to the B&B. I didn’t see anyone else coming to pick us up, so I carried a big bag and a 20-inch suitcase on my back. The three elders followed me and we began to climb up. After climbing a few steps, I looked up and saw a woman in pajamas looking at us at the door of the B&B. I thought it was another guest. She kept watching us climb up. When there were only a few steps left, she suddenly ran over and said, ”Let me help you.” It turned out to be the proprietress. There were only a few steps left. You pretended to come over to help us with our luggage. What were you doing before? The proprietress said arrogantly that she was not in good health. Is poor health a reason for you to treat guests like this? It's really ridiculous. Or if you said sorry when you saw me and said you were not feeling well and couldn't help you, I would have accepted it. The couple really aren't suited to running a B&B, or rather they should hire some helpers. The two of them can only be bosses. The next day after checking out, we had to go to the pier to take a boat and take our luggage with us. The night before, the boss said he would help us book a scenic spot bus to take us. After the pick-up, I would rather spend money to take the scenic spot bus. The next morning the boss said he would give us a ride, but the prerequisite was that two of us had to walk to the dock by ourselves. My anger, which had already subsided, was instantly ignited again. Really, why are you so unwilling to do something like stepping on the accelerator when you're driving? What's more, from what I observed that night, there were only six of us in three rooms in the entire inn. Then the boss asked me for the phone number of our chartered driver. At this time, I really didn't want him to take us there, but the elder kept persuading me. I told him that he could go to the parking lot and I would find a driver to put the luggage away. The boss's service consciousness suddenly awakened and he said he would serve us well, my God. In the end, my three elders still walked to the pier by themselves. This boss is awesome. In the whole inn, only the boss's mother understood how to entertain guests. She always spoke to us politely. There was no service at all in the whole inn. Finally, I want to say that no matter how good the hardware of an inn is, if the service cannot keep up, it will ruin its reputation. B&Bs rely on word of mouth. Maybe the owner of this place is just doing a one-time business, so he doesn't care about the guests' feelings. In fact, even if the conditions of the inn are a little worse, the service is heartwarming and everyone will naturally accept the poor conditions.

HHonghaizhixiaoFThe inn is located within the ancient town, close to the South Gate parking lot. However, it's up a hill, so carrying luggage can be quite tiring. If you have elderly people or children with you, please inform the inn in advance, and they will come down to help with your luggage. The inn is new, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The towels and bath towels are all disposable, and there are no floor towels. The balcony is huge, and the view of the Wujiang River Gallery is breathtaking. It's also very comfortable to sip tea on. The only drawback is that there's no place to put clean clothes in the shower area, leaving no room for a change of clothes. Also, the mirror faces the shower, making the standard room a bit awkward for couples, as the wet and dry areas are separated but lack a sliding door. Otherwise, everything else is good.

The owners were very kind and warm people who not only helped us with our luggage, they made us feel at home by chatting with us over a wonderfully prepared home cooked breakfast and gave us food suggestions in the town. Location was good - not the nearest from the entrance to the town but central enough to access each side of the town easily.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right above the Gongtan ancient town and very conevenient to visit the beautiful town with delicous food and have 1 hour gallery cruise trip in the emerald river surrounded by painting like rock wall mountains and trees. The hotel was renovated lately, thus facilities are new, and we loved the interior of our room and the view through the window. The hotel service was excellent, as manager took us and picked up to the cruise trip or the town upon the request.

SShalli AngLovely local minsu overlooking the river n mountain. The minsu was located on the walking street not far from the jetty when we arrived from wulong.
The lady host was welcoming n helpful in accommodating our request for late lunch n non spicy cooking.
There is a rocking chair in the balcony that looks into the calming river n mountain. It is misty in the evening n early am.
It was a comfortable stay w lovely view.

In the ancient city, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are clean and sanitary, the boss is very polite and enthusiastic, and helped us understand the travel route and buy tickets in advance... I like it. Although there are other inns below, they are far away , if you have a lot of luggage and it is inconvenient, or you can only take a battery car. It's also a bit deserted down there.
