YuanYang Lanzi de Xiaowu Inn

The guesthouse was excellent, and the host even gave us a New Year's gift, which was a lovely touch. I personally found the 70-yuan admission fee for the main scenic area to be overpriced and not worth it. The views weren't significantly different from the free Pugao Laozhai or the sunset at Dawazhe. Crucially, good weather is essential for enjoying these spots; otherwise, it's just a complete waste of money. However, the 5-yuan ticket for Aichunhua was definitely the best value. It's truly beautiful, but make sure to visit before the sun comes up.

Excellent, I extended my stay!

It was alright. It's located in a village, requiring a 200-meter walk through it after getting dropped off. However, it's right next to the terraced fields, and the scenery is quite good. That said, the room design isn't ideal. The room is cramped, with no space for luggage. The bathroom isn't private; it's merely separated by a curtain within the room, allowing smells to easily waft through. In the already tiny room, they've even installed a completely impractical bathtub. I honestly wonder how many guests actually use a bathtub placed by the window in a guesthouse throughout the year. This tacky 'bathtub by the window' trend in the guesthouse industry really needs to go.

Received a free upgrade to a room overlooking the terraced fields, and the view was spectacular!

An absolutely wonderful B&B! It's a world away from your average upgraded farmhouse stay, boasting stylish, aesthetic decor with a real artsy vibe. The host was incredibly thoughtful, and their attention to detail was evident in every corner. This is definitely one of the most highly recommended artistic B&Bs in the Yuanyang area.
