Love the antique building which is well maintained. The staff is very sincere n feels hospitality. Food is excellent n staff was kind enough to translate n explain every dish to us. Onsen in the room was newly renovated. We had an enjoyable n relaxing stay.

The food is wonderful, the bath is small and there is no window, so I don't know, the room was renovated and was beautiful, but the pillars were in the way. On the way back, I was taught a closed road

旧館に泊まりました。古いけれども掃除が行き届いたお部屋。スタッフは全体に若い方が多かったですが、サービスとしては過不足なく、快適に滞在できました。大浴場も（大浴場というには小さいけれど）気持ちの良いお風呂でした。室内のお風呂は露天ではありませんが非常に柔らかいなめらかな源泉がかけ流されており、何度でも入りたくなりました。 朝ごはんは大変美味しく、自家製のお漬物や常備菜に料理長の腕を感じました。中でも西京焼きは身の厚さも含め、朝食で食べるレベルではない素晴らしいものでした。残念だったのは夕食の一部。揚げ物が全く油切れされていない？と思うほど油っぽく。蓴菜が大変塩辛く、味付けを間違えたのでは？と思うほどでした。お一人で作るわけではないので凹凸があるのは仕方ないのでしょうが・・・

特別室に宿泊させていただきました。広々とした和室の間取りで縁側に出た先の寝室にベットがあり落ち着いた雰囲気でゆっくりと過ごせました。部屋には掛け流しの檜風呂があって手軽に入ることができ上質の温泉を満喫しました。夕食は海と山の幸が満載で、特に鮑の握り寿司、アイナメのお椀は絶品。メインは鰻三昧。蒸していない関西風と思われるが様々な味を満喫しました。締めは芹の釜炊きご飯🍚全部完食して大満足。朝ごはんも炭火で焼いた鯵のひらきをメインに自家製明太子や牛肉しぐれなど、食べ切れないほどのもてなし。人生最高の1泊2日でした。是非また訪れたい。
