Feels like a remote village and peaceful stay. At night every business is closed and is dark in the village. It was a pleasant stay and the property manager helped transport our luggage to the second floor, and to the car after check out. The room had a seating toilet, heated blanket and a heater. No refrigerator, which is not a problem. A walking distance to a local convenience store, and cafes. The homestay has a view of the mountain range and the rooftops of the village buildings from a small shared space on the second floor. I need to notify the homestay, the number plate of the car each time the car enters the village between 08:00-18:00. It's a secured road entrance between these times. The road and path leading up to the homestay can be rugged, stone paths shared with horse riders, village dogs, visitors, vehicles and might be challenging for drivers to manoeuvre in narrow paths.

Quiet and clean homestay. Surrounded by nature and right under the famous yulong mountain. And the horse riding experience in the town is great.. love this place because it is less touristy compared to other ancient towns. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and also the host is very approachable. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back again!

Stunning view of the mountain range and surrounding village. The breakfast was personalised to our taste and fresh, the lady who cooked every day was fantastic. The rooms are very clean and modern, with a heated mirror so steam won’t block your view and a heater for colder mornings. The hotel itself is lovely, with a traditional atmosphere. The property has two sweet dogs, too :) We had a great time, I wish I could bring my family next time! ＜3

I love this homestay. I have stayed in this place for the third time. It’s a beautiful, well maintained guesthouse with a caring, lovely owner in one of the most pretty, tiny mountain villages that I have seen so far in China. But I need to issue a serious warning about the recent developments on the hiking trails that surround the village. It took the young people who are now massively flocking these trails, less than a year to completely trash the trails with plastic garbage. This is NOT OK. This insensitive behavior is devastating and upsetting. It is unacceptable! The principle that all hikers and trekkers should follow when they enter the mountains is “to leave no traces”. Every plastic bottle, every plastic bag, every plastic food wrap, every oxygen bottle, every plastic rain cape, every aluminum bin, everything, that someone takes into the mountains, he or she has to take out of the mountain and to properly discard in the village’s official garbage bins. The purity and peace of natural places like this is fragile and vulnerable. Don’t take it for granted. Don’t destroy it.

Lovely homestay with beautiful view, friendly owner, room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The view from guest house to Yulong Moutain is wonderful. The breakfast is homemade and also very full and yummy. At night, don’t miss the night sky full of stars outside.

My wife and I (Singaporean couple) stayed on the 9th and 10th December 2023. Overall, great value-for-money. Their service and hospitality left a deep impression. From getting us additional warmers so that we don't sleep cold, buying tickets of tourist attractions at locals' price, providing adaptors for us, arranging transportation, suggesting the fun places to go, and the breakfast - lightly flavored and healthy meal -and the amazing view of the snow mountain at 720am. They even help us to exchange our cash into smaller denomination when we ran into problems paying locals for their tea as they only accept wechat pay and we don't have one set up. You will get the full experience if you can speak mandarin with them. Oh, and the room is big and is very clean. -- 我们是一对从新加坡来的夫妇。这个民宿体验非常有意思。首先，他们的性价比非常高。服务很到位，也很快。沟通起来，感觉很像是他们村里的一份子。是一个很舒服也很亲切的体验。家族生意，什么都亲力亲为。房子是女儿打理的。早餐是妈妈准备的。我们很喜欢他们准备的早餐。简单，清淡，可口，营养丰富。印象最深刻的是他们的人情味。 最重要是，房间大，也很干净。

It was wonderful, like a paradise. The landlord's backyard was full of fruit trees, including plums and prunes. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was right in front of us, which was very impressive.

I love Yuhu Village so much! I don't want to leave... First, let's talk about the B&B. I sincerely recommend Shanshui Tan! It's cheaper than other half-hotel, half-B&B options in the area, and the rooms are very clean, with simple yet neat furnishings! Secondly, it's a courtyard-style home, with beautiful flowers and plants, including a small garden with lots of tiger butterflies! The view from the courtyard is also great! And finally, this B&B is owned by a villager, and the hostess who took care of us was excellent! The hostess even upgraded my room for free because it happened to be unoccupied that day! After checking in, you'll get a small basket of fruit and snacks! The breakfast was also amazing! It was so filling! We had corn, broccoli, sweet potatoes, rice noodles, fried eggs, soy milk, and cantaloupe! They also have horses, dogs, and lambs. ₍˄·͈༝·͈˄*₎◞ ̑̑ Two dogs, Damao and Defu! The horses were very docile and well-behaved. They worked by the lake (carrying people around the lake) and returned in the evening. The village is right at the foot of the mountain, next to a lake. The scenery was beautiful, with blue skies and white clouds, and it was very cool. We stayed there for a long time and didn't want to leave, hahahahaha. Overall, I'm very grateful and love you, Auntie and Sister!♡ I hope to see you again in the future 🥰

The room was great, with a view of the Jade-Rose Snow Mountain from the window. It was clean and tidy, with a great view, and felt like a paradise.

The B&B is neatly arranged, with a large Naxi courtyard and a newly built two-story building as the B&B. The old house is where the owner lives. The rooms are large, and the entire decoration is wooden and very Naxi style. The puppy is our good friend, following us around and being very docile. The breakfast made by the hostess is also delicious. There are also horses everywhere☺️, which you can see when you go out. It's very interesting~~

The owner is a Naxi from the village. He is very friendly and will chat with you while making breakfast for you. I like quiet recommendation, this one is also good value for money
