Lijiang Manqiwan Snow Mountain Ye She Min Su

I initially thought I was just paying for the elusive snowy mountain views and great photo opportunities. But I also got an incredibly lavish breakfast, super exquisite afternoon tea, and evening cocktails, the healing smile of the dog 🐶 Cola (they deserve extra chicken legs!), and the warm and polite service from the staff (all of the above were complimentary!). The hotel also offers room service, and the porcini mushroom fried rice was absolutely delicious 🤤. I'm highly recommending this to all my friends and family. The room can accommodate an extra bed, so it was very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children!

Our stay at Manxiwan B&B was the most delightful surprise during our entire Lijiang trip, far exceeding our expectations – a perfect 10/10 recommendation! The B&B is conveniently located near Baisha Ancient Town, making it easy to get to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. The overall environment is fantastic and incredibly stylish. What truly blew us away was the breathtaking, unobstructed view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows bring the majestic snow-capped peaks right into your room. On a clear day, you can lie in bed and watch the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' phenomenon unfold – it’s an absolutely magical atmosphere. The decor throughout is both rustic and upscale. The mirrored water feature and glass teahouse in the common areas are perfect photo spots, guaranteeing stunning, atmospheric shots every time. They even offer photography services! Our room was fully equipped and of high quality, spotlessly clean, with smart home devices, a high-definition projector, and premium toiletries. Amenities like a Dyson hairdryer, air purifier, Marshall speaker, and a large bathtub made for an incredibly comfortable and luxurious stay. And the service here is simply impeccable. The owner and housekeeper were incredibly warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They even offer free shuttle service to and from the ancient town. The breakfast spread was comprehensive and varied, and the afternoon tea was beautifully presented and delicious. Enjoying it while gazing at the snow-capped mountains was just heavenly. The meals here are also excellent; after dinner, they even offer drinks and special cocktails – every detail shows how much thought and care they put into their service. It’s all so thoughtful yet discreet, making you feel truly pampered. Overall, the experience was truly exceptional. If you’re looking to escape the everyday and relax in Lijiang, and you appreciate high-quality accommodation, choosing Manxiwan is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang!

I booked this hotel over a month in advance, just to stay at a place that had been on my favorites list. It was absolutely blissful and satisfying! **Location:** The hotel is right near Baisha Ancient Town, but it's not nestled among a bunch of other buildings. The view from the rooms is completely open green space, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance, totally unobstructed. **Service:** After checking in, the hotel butler created a service chat group, sent us important notes, and even met us at the hotel entrance in advance. Our luggage was taken to our room, and for check-out, they proactively came to our room to pick up our bags. Coffee, milk, and juice are available all day, unlimited, for guests. On the day we arrived, they provided afternoon tea with special snacks, coffee, a fruit platter, and cake. The mini-fridge in the room also had drinks. Breakfast was so extensive that my son said, "Mom, we don't need to go out to eat anymore!" We pretty much felt pampered with food the entire stay. When we checked out, the lovely manager even packed coffee for us to take away. Since it was Chinese New Year's Eve, the owner even put on a *huge* fireworks display! Plus, every single staff member greeted us with a smile, which was incredibly comforting. **Facilities:** Kohler bathroom fixtures, a large bathtub, Marshall speakers, smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer, and Acqua di Parma toiletries are all standard. The hygiene was excellent, with bath towels and slippers neatly packaged in bags. The public areas of the hotel have various amenities perfect for relaxing. The hotel's different spots are just as good, if not better, than many popular 'influencer' spots outside, creating a wonderful atmosphere and making it very easy to take great photos. There's also a super cute Samoyed at the hotel!
