Driving back to Lijiang from Meili Snow Mountain, we arrived quite late. With an early morning flight the next day, we chose Manxinfu for its convenient proximity to the airport. It was simply fantastic! From the moment we checked in, the thoughtful service was evident. We were even treated to a late-night snack, which was a huge comfort after our long journey. The room itself was impeccable in every aspect – beautifully designed with meticulous attention to detail. Parking was easy, making this an excellent choice for anyone traveling by car.

This is a very new hotel, part of the Huazhu Group. It's conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the train station. I booked it because I had an early train to Shangri-La the next morning. It rained non-stop from the moment we landed in Dali, and the same wet weather continued in Lijiang. Thankfully, the hotel's complimentary shuttle service to and from Lijiang Station, as well as to the Ancient Town, saved us a lot of hassle. In contrast to the lively atmosphere around the Ancient Town, the hotel provided a wonderfully peaceful and elegant setting, ideal for light sleepers. Upon our arrival around 4 PM, we enjoyed the hotel's afternoon tea, which included delicate fruit cups, NFC juices, and various small snacks. Evenings brought comforting late-night refreshments and sweet soup. Just outside the main entrance, there was a fantastic display wall detailing major attractions, complete with their altitudes and distances. This 'at a glance' information was incredibly beneficial for us, being first-time visitors concerned about altitude sickness. Highly recommend!
