Amazing stay in a very warm atmosphere closed to the very kind host family. After two days we felt like being part of the family. Basic skills in Chinese are an advantage. The food was delicious.

The hostel owner was a gem.. She was such a humble and kind lady. Me and my French friends love her to bits. She invested a lot of time sorting out our transport to Shaxi.
She was an amazing cook. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. It was absolutely delicious. We rated her cooking better than the restaurant down the hill. I was the only one who had breakfast the next morning. I literally finished the breakfast in less than 10 mins. We highly recommend to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hostel.
The room was spotlessly cleaned including the bathroom. You can eat on the floor. We couldn't find any dust on surfaces.
Finally it was the best decision we have ever met to have stayed in her hostel. It was a memorable experience at Nuodeng village.

The facilities and equipment are complete, but the socket panel has fallen off; the hygiene is clean and tidy; the environment is good, you can overlook the scenery of the ancient village, you can see the mountain view in the distance when you open the curtains in the morning, the air is fresh, and the whole ancient village is quiet and peaceful.

The proprietress is hospitable, has good cooking skills, and makes delicious meals😋 and delicious breakfast😋. And the big yellow dog named "Taotao" is very friendly. He came to pick us up when we arrived, and accompanied us all the way down the mountain when we left, and sent us to the parking lot.
