Just steps away from Ilica Street and vivid British Square, Kings n' Queens Boutique Hostel offers well appointed air-conditioned rooms and two dormitories. The Boutique Hostel and the attached popular Caffè Bar recount the story of Croatian nobility throughout the centuries. It's located a convenient 3 tram stops away from both Zagreb's Main Square and the railway station.
Each of the rooms is themed after a distinct city of Croatia, situated in 5 different duchys. Each unit is equipped with comfortable beds, flat-screen TV and a wardrobe.
Our signature Royal Rooms have their own private bathroom and a sitting area. Two of our double Prince's Rooms share one bathroom, each. They can also be combined into a Prince's Suite for even more space and privacy. An entire Duchy can be your's by renting a whole floor for 8 guests. Smaller groups should try our Family Pad. Budget conscious female travelers relax at the Ladies' Residence mini-dorm and the Chevaliers' Quarter offers comfortable yet economic accomodation for male solo travelers to Croatia's capital.
Kings n' Queens is also home to a lively Caffè Bar, where authentic Croatian drinks and barista-prepared Lavazza coffee specialties are served all day. In the cozy interior, St Stephen's crown is on display on an imposing throne (OK, both are copies), while our sidewalk terrace and rustic courtyard have become a neighborhood institution. It's where you can mingle with fellow-travellers or just let the time go by and listen to the stories of our regular local patrons
A shared kitchen is at guest's disposal, that's also where our daily Croatian breakfast is served buffet-style. Guests can also hang out in our Basement Living Room, if the sun isn't gracing our terrace (which is very rare).
The nearby British Square hosts a daily green market, while Sundays you can explore it’s antiques market. A grocery shop and a variety of bars and dining options can be found in the vicinity.
