Very quiet homestay, remember me my young days. will come back again

We arrived before their check-in time, the owner allowed us to leave the luggage, so we could go out sightseeing without carrying luggage around. The location was close to tourist attractions. Owner was nice.

For those who like to take photos, this homestay is very autheticly feels like you are back to childhood if you were born in the 60s ~ 90s. I rented a motorcycle with the homestay but it cost very expensive nt800 as compare to other places which ranges around nt250~350.

We were able to upgrade to a room with a window at the last minute, which felt like a huge improvement. This is a charming guesthouse, decorated with many nostalgic items reminiscent of my 40s and 50s, including movie posters, vinyl records, children's toys, and everyday items. It's very inviting. The guesthouse is not far from Lukang Old Street, within walking distance. "Taipei is not my home~" "My hometown has no neon lights~" These songs inspired me to revisit Lukang. With the "Pink Supercar" taking off, the streets were even more lively. Lukang has many delicious snacks that I highly recommend, such as rice cakes, noodles, and meat soup—clean and tasty.

The overall surrounding environment is quite nice, but unfortunately the soundproofing in the room is terrible; I was woken up very early in the morning. Also, the room's insulation is very poor in cold weather, making the whole room quite chilly. I think it's okay to go in the summer, but I wouldn't want to stay there in the winter.

Located within walking distance of Lukang Old Street, the themed rooms offer a unique style that may not appeal to everyone. The hotel is primarily run by the owner, resulting in a limited staff that cannot be expected to provide the same level of service as the hotel. Most of the facilities are rather old, and overall, holiday stays tend to be expensive.

The bed was hard and the soundproofing was not very good. The advantages are that the location is lively and there are many photogenic decorations in the lobby, but it is really hard to sleep. If you don't mind the noise and are a good sleeper, you can consider it.

It has a very nostalgic and retro smell. The automatic fragrance smell is stronger, but it’s fine after I unplug it.

The B&B has a very old-fashioned feel. It is very fun to bring the elderly to experience things from their era.
