Based on the reviews we read online, we decided to book this place to unwind and relax after a 3-day Zhangjiajie tour. Upon arrival, this turned out to be quite a disappointment. Since it was 5 of us, we booked the detached stilt house. However, in the cold months this place was absolutely freezing. We already dealt with some issues on our tour (including rain & cold) so our plans to relax in a comfortable & warm setting went well out the window. The middle part of the house (see picture) seemed more a reception room and had absolutely no heating at all. We had the aircon on high temp the entire time, but in short: we were just freezing for 2 days. This accommodation should not be rented out to guests in cold conditions. Other than that, the staff was super sweet and helpful. But this was not the stay we wanted

An incredible hotel with a super cozy, traditional atmosphere. The staff is very kind and even provides free traditional costumes to wear. The breakfast was delicious, and our sleeping bubble was huge with a good view. The pool is great. It's close to the South Gate park they even gave us a lift! Heads-up:it's on a hill. Do not try to walk up; tell DiDi Mirror Cube to get to the right place. Otherwise it’s sporty We explored the park (avatar mountain, tianzi, four gates…) + grand canyon ( glass bridge…) + took a 20minute train to Furong : highly recommend!

Me and 6 friends rented the stilt house for 6 nights, and it was without a doubt the best accommodation we stayed at during our 1 month China trip. The hostess Shaomei was beyond generous with her time and resources to make our stay as easy, comfortable, and fun as possible. We originally planned to stay here 3 nights, but decided to extend our stay because it had everything: a great home-cooked breakfast, a pool, pick-up service, laundry service, and proactive help planning our trips to the surrounding attractions, making this a particularly lazy and rejuvanating leg of our trip! We also played table tennis and badminton with the hostess, which was super cute. The house was clean (daily room service provided), spacious, beautifully decorated, and had the most comfortable beds. The national park was also only 5 minutes driving away, another big plus. We had dinner at the accommodation several nights as well, as Shaomei and her aunt are great cooks, sourcing many ingredients from their vegetable garden on site, or even from the forest (tried fiddleheads for the first time). Pricing was very fair for basically having a private chef available every night. Lastly: he view! We could admire the mountains from the pool, which felt extremely luxurious. Would recommend this place to everybody! We'll be back!

It would have had a completely different stay if I hadn’t stay there. It made my trip to Zhangjiajie way more interesting. The location is so pretty and the food amazing, I would come back just to taste it again!

The staff could not have been more helpful. They guided us with activities and also helped in any other situation. They put on a big bbq for all guests and treated us like family. Could not recommend this place more

Wow what an amazing stay was this! As soon as we arrived we decided to book two extra nights to enjoy the beautiful relaxed atmosphere as long as possible. Besides the amazing help in planning our trips around zhangjiajie we also got a free upgrade to a better room. Will definitely recommend this stay to anybody who is planning on visiting zhangjiajie!

The ambiance here is elegant and comfortable, a peaceful retreat nestled amidst the activity. It's ideal for a relaxing family getaway. The owners are fantastic – humorous, engaging, and incredibly attentive to guests' needs. Highly recommended!

We had a very good stay at the guesthouse. The owner is very friendly and speaks English, she helped us a lot in getting around. The place is super beautiful with a view of the mountains and very quiet. Highly recommended!

If I ever get the chance to visit Zhangjiajie again, I would definitely choose this guesthouse. Not only is the owner incredibly kind, but the accommodation also has a lot of unique character, making our family's trip wonderfully comfortable and enjoyable!

This guesthouse has a charming Hunan village vibe. The setting is lovely and it's wonderfully quiet, making it ideal for families visiting Zhangjiajie. The food is also delicious, and the owner is wonderful!
