We checked into Building C of Nanshanli on the evening of the first day of the ***** New Year. The soundproofing was poor, and the towels had stains. I reported it to Trip.com, and both Trip.com and the hotel's customer service reps (kudos to them!) handled it proactively. Since it was quite late when we checked in, we decided to switch to another hotel the next day. The resolution was satisfactory.
Overall, the service level at Nanshanli is quite low. Perhaps it was due to the large crowds during Chinese New Year – the restaurant was packed, and the front desk and housekeeping staff seemed to lack a service-oriented mindset. I've stayed at麓宿 (Lù Sù), Genting, Oakwood, and InterContinental in Chongli, and I can honestly say that the overall experience at Thaiwoo was the worst. I won't be choosing Thaiwoo Ski Town for skiing or accommodation in the future.
