Hilton Zhengzhou

The location is super convenient for high-speed rail travel from Hangzhou East. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with clean carpets. The soundproofing was good, so we weren't disturbed by any noise. The hot water for the shower worked perfectly. The breakfast spread was generous and enjoyable, and the quality of the Chinese restaurant was also quite good – we ate there twice. They even kindly offered a late checkout until 2 PM, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied, and it offered great value for money. We'd definitely consider staying here again if we have the chance. It would be even better if the internet connection could be improved (though the staff member who came to install the router was very quick and efficient, so it didn't really impact our experience too much).

I checked into the Hilton Zhengzhou yesterday, and the experience was truly infuriating – staying here over Chinese New Year was such a disappointment and a complete rip-off! The parking was barely adequate. The hotel overall is incredibly old, with outdated facilities. The carpet was so dirty it was unwatchable, setting a bad mood as soon as I walked in. The shower water was barely lukewarm, just a tiny bit of heat. Luckily, it hasn't been too cold these past couple of days, otherwise, I definitely would have caught a cold. I clearly booked a Deluxe Family Room, but the 'small bed' turned out to be a makeshift folding bed? So a 'Deluxe Family Room' is just a name to fool people? This is such a scam! The breakfast was the most outrageous part! Two adults and two children, the order clearly stated 4 breakfasts, but at the restaurant, they told me there were only 3. They even came over to repeatedly confirm. Do your front desk and restaurant staff not check orders or pay attention? In the end, they casually said, 'We'll give you one for free' – I don't need you to give it to me! This is what I paid for and am entitled to! The food itself was abysmal, with a pitifully small selection, not even as good as an Atour in a small town. For fresh-cut fruit, there were only watermelon, cantaloupe, and dragon fruit – utterly pathetic. Compared to Atour's breakfast, your so-called five-star offering is far inferior to even their four-star! What's even more unpleasant is the service attitude: Other five-star hotels usually offer welcome fruit upon check-in, let alone during Chinese New Year! I'm staying at your hotel with my child during the New Year, and there wasn't even a basic plate of welcome fruit, no small gifts or thoughtful gestures for the child, and no courtesy or sincerity towards guests. Old facilities, chaotic service, terrible breakfast, and absolutely no sense of occasion for Chinese New Year, showing complete disrespect for guests. Having stayed at so many five-star hotels across the country, Hilton Zhengzhou is currently the worst and most undeserving of its rating. It absolutely does not meet five-star standards. I will not be coming back, nor do I recommend it to anyone!

The room was great and clean! The breakfast spread was fantastic, and we got an upgrade to the family executive lounge for dinner. Although the food selection wasn't huge, the quality was excellent, and the drinks were great too. You get a good view of the 'Big Corn' (Zhongyuan Tower) from afar, and the night view is stunning. We also visited the Yellow River. My whole family thought it was wonderful.

I had previously warned them that the design of the two doors was problematic, making it easy to bump into and shatter the glass, which could lead to serious consequences. However, when I returned the next day to tidy up the room, the doors were still opened in the same way. This shows that the hotel management completely disregarded the issue and ignored customer feedback. A hotel that treats its guests' concerns this way can never succeed.

The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and I really love the decor. The pool temperature is constant, so the kids had a great time too. The restaurant food is good. Overall, it's a great hotel and meets high-end standards.

We happened to be there on Christmas Eve, and it was so heartwarming to see staff dressed as Santa Claus handing out candy to the kids last night. The gym is 24-hour, and the pool is open from 6 AM to 10 PM. I swam without goggles and thought the water quality was excellent. The hotel service was also great. When I asked for a fruit knife, they just went ahead and cut the fruit for us. The Chinese breakfast selection was a bit limited but tasted good, while the Western pastries were absolutely amazing! If I had to find a fault, it would be that the hand cream in the restroom had too strong of a scent, 😂😂😂
