Zhengshang Jianguo Hotel Zhengzhou East Railway Station

The hotel's hygiene was impeccable. The room was spotless upon arrival, with no strange odors. Zhang Haixia [assuming this is a staff member's name, if not, it should be removed or clarified] kept the bed neatly made and soft. The desk, floor, and bathroom were all dry and tidy, and the toiletries were neatly arranged. The cleaning staff were kind and provided attentive service. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. The cleanliness quality gets full marks, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, incredibly close to the high-speed train station, which made getting around and catching my train super convenient – a real lifesaver for anyone on the go. My room was a duplex, and the two levels offered spacious and airy living with a smart layout that never felt cramped. The best part was having two bathrooms, which was incredibly thoughtful and made things so much more convenient. Zhang Haixia did an amazing job keeping it spotless; the attention to detail was top-notch. The surrounding area also has everything you need. There's a Mixue Bingcheng just a short walk downstairs, so grabbing a drink was easy. I heard that Pang Donglai (a department store) is opening nearby soon, and there's already a large shopping mall next door, so future shopping, dining, and leisure options will be incredibly convenient. The room itself was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. It offers excellent value for money and is perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I highly recommend it!

The room was quite spacious, but there were a lot of construction areas outside, and the noise at night was disruptive!

I've always had a good impression of Zhengshang, but this stay was a very unsatisfactory experience. First, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell and the toilet wasn't clean. Secondly, when I showered at night, there was no conditioner! 😂😂 Also, when I used the notepad, I found it was covered in dust. I know it was a newly cleaned room, but I didn't expect such a result. 😅 This stay shattered my positive perception of Zhengshang. I hope my next stay can be as satisfying as before.

The room's cleanliness was a major issue. There were urine stains on the toilet and discarded paper, and large pieces of snacks left by the previous guest on the sofa. The front desk staff were very helpful and promptly changed our room. However, the new room had similar cleanliness problems, and even after a second room change, the issue persisted. I hope hotel management addresses these hygiene concerns. Despite the cleanliness issues, the front desk staff were very proactive and helpful in trying to resolve the situation. 👍

To be fair, the biggest advantage is its proximity to the train station; you can essentially walk there. You don't even need to strictly follow navigation – just ask the front desk, and you'll get there quickly. Taking a taxi is actually inconvenient; we ended up taking a roundabout route. The downside is that there's nothing much around, and dining options aren't very convenient. If you're traveling with kids, you can just eat at the hotel's top floor restaurant. The breakfast was excellent! The lamb offal soup, spicy soup (hulutang), and desserts were all made with good quality ingredients. They weren't like those stale or low-quality vegetable cream desserts. The overall quality was great, especially the pound cake – I really loved it! We accidentally broke a breakfast cup and were charged an extra 28 yuan. I felt the compensation price was a bit high, but it was indeed our fault. I'd suggest providing more baby-friendly cups if possible, otherwise, all-ceramic cups make accidents like this hard to avoid.

Standard hotel, great environment, hygiene, and service. Breakfast, gym, and free parking are all available and complete.

We stayed in a duplex room with a small loft, and the kids absolutely loved it. They each had their own space with the two separate beds. However, the upstairs bathroom design wasn't very practical; there was no separate door for the shower area, making the bathroom unusable after showering. Also, the hot and cold water taps in the downstairs kitchen were plumbed in reverse.

Extremely satisfied! The location is excellent, and I hope they continue to offer such great value for money. This is my second time staying here. It's super convenient with Mixue (a popular bubble tea shop) and Li Xiang's IP store nearby, making it a fantastic area for shopping.
