Jiulong Yipin Hotel (Zhenyuan Ancient City New Bridge)

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed. The only redeeming qualities of this hotel are its terrace and an electronic billboard. There's practically no lobby, and the room was very noisy. It's right next to a public parking lot, so you hear cars coming and going all night, with their license plate announcements or whatever. Overall, it's on par with a 200 yuan guesthouse in a small town.

The room was great, and the hotel platform offered fantastic night views. The service was good, and the hygiene was acceptable. There were plenty of dining options nearby. The only downsides were the parking and the hotel entrance, which weren't ideal. Overall, I had a good experience.

The hotel is right above a supermarket, but the entrance is small and a bit hard to find. The front desk is on the sixth floor, so you have to take the elevator up. Initially, I stayed in a balcony room where the balcony was just an enclosed space on the third-floor courtyard, with no view of the outside. I had to pay extra to upgrade to a true balcony room, which offered a nice view of the Wuyang River. I even saw some dragon boat paddlers practicing, which was really cool! The room itself wasn't big, but it had unique decor. The bathroom, however, was quite cramped. Breakfast was just okay, but it did offer some local specialties.

The hotel offers unbeatable scenic views, especially from the sky terrace overlooking the Wuyang River at night – it's absolutely stunning. The fully smart room controls are super convenient, the room itself is spotless, and the bedding is really comfortable. Breakfast includes local specialty noodles, and self-parking is free. It's just a few minutes' walk to explore the ancient town. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Zhenyuan.

The room was clean and tidy, with an unobstructed view of the Wuyang River. There's also an observation deck on the fifth floor, offering beautiful scenery. The lobby staff were very helpful. For parking, you pay upfront and the hotel reception quickly reimburses you. The downsides are that the street is one-way and the hotel sign isn't very visible, so we drove around quite a bit trying to find it.

The location is fantastic, right in the pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants downstairs and shopping nearby. If you're driving, it's a bit less convenient as there's a one-way section, and the parking lot is under the hotel. The hotel service is excellent – warm, attentive, and quick to respond. There's a platform by the river with several tables and chairs, perfect for having tea and enjoying the night view. The room itself wasn't very big, and I felt the cleanliness could have been better. There was a faint smell of urine in the room, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.
