Zhongwei No.7 Starry Sky Tent Hotel

Even though it's a tent, it's still very convenient and the kids loved it! The hotel service was excellent. We had trouble finding a taxi in the evening when we were leaving, and the butler even helped us call one. The bonfire show included in the package was great, and we could also buy an activity pass for half price, which was amazing value!

The service was great, and there were plenty of fun activities organized. Being able to enjoy delicious meals in the desert really shows how much effort the hotel puts into its service.

The No. 7 Galaxy Mars Base is absolutely incredible! It's a sci-fi dream come true, with space capsule camps right in the middle of the desert. The rooms are fully equipped, the butler service is attentive and thoughtful, and the food is authentic and plentiful. They offer a one-stop experience including sandboarding, astronaut suit photos, and stargazing bonfires, making it the top choice for family trips and desert accommodation!

The Mars Cabin was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a full range of children's amenities, making it perfect for families. The hotel's personalized service was excellent. My child was just over 1.2 meters tall, but the hotel didn't charge extra. There were plenty of activities, so we never got bored. A special thanks to our butler, Xiao Zhao, who basically responded to our WeChat messages instantly. Whenever we needed a shuttle, he'd arrange it within 5 minutes. When I was leaving the hotel, my car accidentally got stuck in a sand pit. Under the scorching midday sun, Butler Xiao Zhao spent over an hour tirelessly helping me – putting down planks, shoveling sand, pushing the car, and finally coordinating the hotel's tow truck, even though my rental car didn't even have a tow hook (a note to Shenzhou Car Rental: provide cars with tow hooks!). He finally got my car out.

Overall, it was quite good. The environment is excellent, and the amenities are decent. The complimentary hotpot buffet in the evening was delicious.

Staying in the desert was definitely a unique experience. My kids could play in the sand all day, and at night we could stargaze – I even managed to snap a photo of the Big Dipper with my phone! The environment isn't exactly top-notch, but then again, it's the desert, so that's understandable. The hotel service was decent enough.

This is a tent hotel right in the desert, but the tents aren't very soundproof. One night, I was actually woken up by the wind and rain. The room was a little small. The complimentary 'Ma Dao Cheng Gong' bonfire show was pretty good. The buffet was very average.

The tent was clean and well-equipped. Even though it was only 4°C the night we checked in, the tent was very warm thanks to the air conditioning. It even had a private bathroom, which is quite a rare find for a tented hotel. The staff, especially 'Xiao Zhi', were very attentive. They sent out hotel activity updates in advance, and whenever we requested a car, they responded immediately. The service was truly excellent. As a hotel guest, we also got a discount on the Tonghu Grassland activity package – a direct ¥130 off the ¥260 price, which was a great saving. Compared to everything else, the food was probably the weakest link. Both breakfast and the buffet dinner in Block B had limited variety, and the taste was just standard hotel fare. I'm curious to know what it's like in Block A.

Great! There are plenty of activities for families with kids. The dining options were also richer than I expected; the hotpot dinner was perfect for our large family, catering to everyone's tastes. The desert is right outside, and the kids absolutely loved it, they didn't want to leave!
