Chimelong Circus Hotel (Zhuhai Ocean Kingdom)

The hotel's location is just a few minutes' walk from Ocean Kingdom, and it's about a ten to fifteen-minute ride, including waiting for the shuttle bus, to reach Spaceship Park. The room is quite spacious. The twin room, contrary to what Trip.com stated about having two 1.2-meter beds, actually has 1.5-meter beds, so there's no need to worry about children falling out. They even called beforehand to ask if we needed bed rails installed, which shows excellent service. The buffet restaurant is also good. The kids had a blast, stayed happily, and ate well.

My last visit to Chimelong was during the Qingming Festival in 2024, and I stayed at the Penguin Hotel. This time, I wanted a change and opted for the Circus Hotel, mainly for easy access to the Chimelong Show. Overall, I found everything quite convenient. It's about a ten-minute walk from Chimelong Station. The room was noticeably spacious, which was a huge plus for us as we had a lot of luggage, and the shower water was great. Plus, you can see Ocean Kingdom from the window! The hotel service was also excellent. My only minor complaint is the removal of the delivery lockers, which feels a bit inconvenient for guests. In a nutshell: if I come back to Chimelong, I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

This is my third time in Zhuhai, and I stayed at the Chimelong Circus Hotel. The service was excellent. The room was spacious, and it was super convenient to get to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and the Spaceship theme park. The food was also really good. I'll definitely come back next time!

The room facilities are complete, with special toiletries, slippers, toothbrushes, and bath towels for children, making it very child-friendly. It's very close to Chimelong Show, and Ocean Kingdom is just a 5-minute walk away. We entered the park 4 or 5 times during our three-day, two-night stay. The service was just average, nothing remarkable. Perhaps because there were too many people, the layout, service, and food at the buffet restaurant felt more like a fast-food joint than a five-star hotel.

There was practically no service to speak of. I checked in, but couldn't get my room until 3 PM. Expect large crowds during the Chinese New Year period, so be prepared if you choose to visit then. I waited a long time just to get to my floor. The food was very average. The Chimelong show isn't as good as the Dreamland show by Lake Tai or the Han Show in Wuhan.

Chimelong Circus Hotel is absolutely perfect for families with kids! The hotel is brimming with circus-themed decor, vibrant colors, and tons of little details that got my child super excited the moment we walked in. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good too. But the best part is the incredibly convenient location. My kid kept telling everyone the hotel was in the 'center stage'! It's just a 6-7 minute walk to Ocean Kingdom and about 8-9 minutes to the Spaceship Theme Park. On our last day, after seeing Kaka Tiger, we just turned a corner and were right there. We walked everywhere for a few days, saving a lot of travel time. The buffet restaurant offered a rich variety of dishes, and the food was delicious. The staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were both quick. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and it's great value for money. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Chimelong. Highly recommend it for families with children!
