Zhuhai L Hotel （Gongbei Port High-speed Railway Station）

I rarely give a perfect five-star rating, but Zhuhai L Hotel truly deserves it. I booked it because I saw the hotel's signboard right after exiting Gongbei Port. What surprised me, though, was that the hotel doesn't rely on its location to make money, but rather on its genuinely comprehensive facilities and excellent service!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right across from Zhuhai Station, Gongbei, and Qingmao Port, which was incredibly convenient after a long day exploring Macau. Seriously, after walking 20,000 steps, seeing the hotel entrance right after clearing customs was such a relief! The convenience of staying here was just wonderful. I stayed for four nights, and my experience was great. The soundproofing seemed pretty good; perhaps it's the off-season, but I didn't hear any noise at night. There's also a supermarket and convenience store downstairs, which was super handy. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They even gave us fruit and a small gift on our first day, which was a lovely touch.

This hotel is incredibly close to Zhuhai Railway Station; you can see it right from Exit A. It's also very near Gongbei Port, making it perfect for tourists heading to Macau. The hotel even provided a complimentary gift pack and fruit. Free laundry service is a great bonus. And a really important point: the shower has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water, perfect for washing away a day's fatigue.

This was my first time staying in Zhuhai after visiting Macau, so I specifically chose a hotel nearby. It's conveniently located right across the street from the border crossing, and the hotel's sign is very prominent. The room, though small, was fully equipped with everything you could need, even body lotion. The towels were individually wrapped in plastic bags. I particularly want to commend the slippers at this hotel; unlike other hotels where the slipper soles are usually thin, these had good cushioning and wouldn't easily get your feet wet. Upon check-in, they provided little essential gifts like hair ties and makeup remover wipes, and even complimentary fruit. The service was excellent. A 300 deposit is required, payable via WeChat Pay, Alipay, or cash. There are snacks in the room with prices clearly marked. Plenty of dining options are available nearby, and you can also order takeout, which will be delivered to your room by a small robot.

This hotel is perfectly located, just a 5-minute walk across the street from Gongbei Port and Zhuhai High-Speed Railway Station. It's super easy to find, with a prominent sign right as you exit the station. The room layout is well-designed with great natural light, and the bedding is soft and comfortable – I slept incredibly well. The air conditioning is very quiet, not making a sound at night. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and there's plenty of hot water, which was so relaxing after a shower. If you need extra bottled water or a disposable toilet seat cover, a cute little robot delivers it right to your door. Very satisfied!

On my last night in Zhuhai, I was really torn about which hotel to book. I originally considered Hanting or Chaoman, as they seemed closer and newer, which would be better for catching an early train. But after a lot of looking, I settled on this one. It wasn't much more expensive, and I could even see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. After checking in, I realized I made the perfect choice! The room was super clean and even had a safety rail, which is a lifesaver when traveling with a young child. All the amenities and items were complete and well-stocked! I was truly satisfied. The laundry room has a washer-dryer combo that dries clothes really well and leaves them smelling fresh. The roasted goose rice downstairs was also delicious. The biggest surprise was that there's a covered walkway directly from the hotel entrance (just across a small road) all the way to Zhuhai Station. Haha, I feel like I hit the jackpot! Next time I'm in Zhuhai, I absolutely have to stay here!
