四合院在一座寂靜的山谷裏面，五一也沒幾個人，人潮中難得的避世之處。

民宿在村委會院內，乾淨寬敞的房間，環境幽靜安全，免費停車方便，像個世外桃源，村裡的飯館相當實惠。這家民宿離河南寺很近。民宿哪都好，唯一缺點是水壓不行，晚上洗澡沒有水，夏天是個大缺憾。太遺憾了，住了一夜就走了，否則會多住些日子。

房間很大，乾淨衞生。早餐的雞蛋非常大，是房間裏贈送的。玩了會陶藝，可以自己燒製帶走。村子邊就是桑乾河，去了一趟河南寺，還去了桑乾河大峽谷，去大峽谷看起來就20公里，但是路非常不好走，回來時候繞了80公里到宣化開回來的。順便看了宣化古城。
