The hotel is walking distances away from the main street of Bahnhofstrasse. The room is spacious and super clean. The only setback is that the room doesn't come wit mini fridge and water kettle. Overall experience is great!

it tool us 30 mins to check in, because the front desk can't count the correct room rate, she keeps to add incorrect and unreasonable number again and again.

5 minute walk to city center. New and well maintained hotel. Lobby and bar area were beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding for 19.95 Francs. Room were beautiful and small. Would definitely stay again.

We found Motel One based on ******* and Google Reviews.
It was very easy to get to in our Uber from the airport and staff was super friendly upon our arrival. The room is very nice and cozy. The weather was chilly outside, so we were able to open the window a bit for fresh air at night with no issues.
Everything we decided to do (including the Christmas markets) were within walking distance.
The bar on the main floor specializes in gin from several countries. If you're a gin drinker, highly recommend you take a look at their menu and try one (or a few). Each gin has a recommended pairing for a tonic and garnish, and the ones I tried were delicious.
This was our first time staying in this brand of hotel, and I wish they would have let us know there were perks for our stay when joining the loyalty club. We only found out on our last day, by reading a sign at the bar.
Would recommend this property and we're excited to visit their other locations during our future travels!

Loved this hotel, rooms were comfy and nicely designed with good bathrooms and showers. Staff were very friendly and polite. The location was also very central.

It is clean, not very roomy. One thing I have to mention is that there is no coffee pot there. If you want tea or coffee, you have to buy it at the bar which is at the ground level. Also, there’s no body lotion provided, so, you should prepare it if you get there during the winter.

Check in was easy. We were able to check in early, but had to upgrade to a larger room. The room was clean, bathroom small, but clean and modern. The bathroom had an open shower and some water gets on the floor outside. The room overlooked the inner courtyard which was more quite than the street side. Easy checkout. We didn't participate in the €20 breakfast. Instead we bought some pastries and bananas at the nearby store. Nice place to stay.

My air conditioning didn’t work so opened the windows only to be disturbed by traffic noise from the tram
