Crowne Plaza Zurich Reviews

The hotel is a little away from the center (15~20 min by tram), plus 4min walk to the station. The check-in was quick, although in proper Swiss fashion the check-in time is only at 3pm. Fortunately, we were allowed to move in earlier. The room is big enough, but if you have big suitcases it'll be a bit tight. The staff is courteous and helpful, and try to accommodate if they can. The breakfast selection isn't too wide, but it's well arranged and has most of what you'd expect. There's a proper gym (exceedingly rare) with enough equipment to satisfy all but the pros. However, it does get a bit busy at times. They also have a decent swimming pool. There's a workstation with a printer next to the reception that guests can use for free - perfect if you need to print out tickets. They were happy to hold our baggage after we moved out until our flight in the evening - much appreciated. We paid about 125CHF a night for a standard room for two including breakfast, which is a good deal in Zurich. All things considered, there's very little to complain about. We had an excellent stay, and would love to stay there again.

Good service. Staff is friendly and explained everything in details including deposit and tax policy. Things in room like drink are for free.

4 minutes walking distance to tram station, 3 minutes walk to supermarket too. Hotel staff are friendly and professional.

U must regret if u book it 1. Not convenient location 2. Very very small room 3. Hotel is old 4. Some front desk staff attitude is not very helpful but surely some is good. Insufficient front desk staff so that always no one pick up phone 5. Bed is too soft and pillow is worse. Only one kind of pillow, no other choice. Can't sleep well. Make my back and neck feel very tire 6. Only room cleaning staff service is good 7. This is the worst Crowne Plaza hotel I have stayed

This hotel located out of the city , but the price is reasonable as compare the price in the city centre. They are a tram station just about 400 meter from the hotel . In Switzerland all hotel should provide free city transportation pass to hotel customers , but the front desk staff never issue us any and ask us to buy a daily city pass ! What lousy service of front desk staff !

A very affordable hotel at switzerland, especially Zurich. Given that most bnb was quite expensive and not quite affordable for a young traveller like me. This hotel is good as in the environment and service. Close to supermarket and tram stations also. (Roughly 5mins walk)

Extremely disappointed with the stay. Hotel staff were rude. The air conditioning in one room never worked. Changed to another room and it still didn't work. Staff were not bothered to even check and kept saying that it will work in 30 mins. Requested for a plate to use, and staff mentioned that "this is switzerland , you have to come down by yourself ". Overall, the stay was not pleasant and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Experience was great, but the room is slightly small! The staff were really helpful.

The hotel was nearby,service was ok..The receptionist could speak English. Overall the experience was nice , they provided free sauna and jacuzzi. Room service was good.

The hotel staffs are nice and the services are great! They build up an area in the lobby for watching the World Cup matches!
