Introduction Australian Wildlife Viewing

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Australia is known as the "Living Fossil Museum of the World", where visitors can get up close to some of the world's rarest wild animals. In Kakadu National Park, visitors can follow professional guides to explore wetlands, savannas and sandstone cliffs, looking for traces of sand wallaroos, black-striped wallaroos, monitor lizards and saltwater crocodiles. Australia's zoos and wildlife sanctuaries are also great places to see wild animals. Sydney Taronga Zoo, Melbourne Zoo, Brisbane's Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and other places provide safe and close contact with Australian species such as koalas, kangaroos, wombats and Tasmanian devils. Here, visitors can also participate in professional animal lectures and interactive experiences to gain a deeper understanding of the living habits and conservation status of these animals.

Witnessing Nature’s Wonder, the Tiny Penguins

#timetotravel #australia #melbournetrip Must-not-missed trip when you visit Melbourne, watching the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island! It takes around 2-3hours drive from Melbourne city and there are plenty of day-trip tour services that you can join that will cost anywhere from AUD139 to above AUD1000 depending on the group size and travel time. The tour I joined in called Bunyip Travel departed from Melbourne at 10AM and return by 10PM. It was mesmerizing to sit and watch those penguins emerge from the ocean towards their burrows. No photo & videos are allowed during the Penguin Parade and it can take quite a while to wait for those penguins to show up, so if you go in winter time, make sure to pack some warm clothings as you’ll be sitting outside. Or just pay extra to get the indoor - underground seatings. Fun trivia told by our tour guide: Chris & Liam Hemsworth are from Phillip Island! Their parents still live here 😆

Standing at The Nobbies Viewpoint on Phillip Island, you’re greeted by sweeping views of the vast Pacific Ocean, stretching endlessly beyond the horizon. The cliffside boardwalk leads to stunning sea stacks, where waves crash dramatically against the rugged shore. Spot fur seals lounging on the rocks and breathe in the salty breeze, and the occasional wallaby or kangaroo hopping nearby.
