Hey, if you're talking about travel, Qingdao is the place to be! Here's a super practical guide for a DIY trip to Qingdao. First, let's talk about the classic 5-day, 4-night itinerary. On the first day, start exploring the old town. Arrive at Qingdao Railway Station in the morning and head straight to Zhan Bridge, where you can feed the seagulls and enjoy the sea view. It's quite a sight to see flocks of seagulls squawking and vying for food. Next, visit St. Michael's Cathedral on Zhejiang Road. The architecture of the church is stunning. Then, stroll along Zhongshan Road and stop by Pichaiyuan Snack Street to sample local snacks. In the afternoon, go to Signal Hill Park, where you can overlook the red-tiled roofs and green trees. The view is picturesque. Afterward, check in at the University Road internet-famous wall, then head to Xiaoyu Mountain, and finally to Badaguan Scenic Area to see Huashi Lou and Princess House, which feel like stepping into a fairy tale. In the evening, watch the light show at May Fourth Square from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The twinkling lights create a magical atmosphere. The central part of the city and one of the main touristic destinations for lots of people. To get to this place is quite easy, by subway, May Fourth station. It’s a beautiful square, by the sea, with picturesque sea view. It is surrounded by skyscrapers. This place is especially beautiful in the evening. You can see a light show here. And all the tall business centers are in lights. May 4th square is a very popular photo location. Everyone who visited Qingdao has a photo with that red sculpture 😉. It’s a good point to start exploring the city from here. After the square you can walk all along the bind and enjoy other sightseeings. #bucketlistreboot
