Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Belly dancing originated in the Middle East and North Africa and is known for its unique dance moves, gorgeous costumes and dynamic music. In Istanbul, belly dance performances are often performed in traditional Turkish restaurants, nightclubs and cultural events, providing audiences with an unforgettable cultural experience. Performers demonstrate superb dancing skills and rich emotional expression through flexible body movements and complex dance steps. The dance is usually accompanied by traditional Turkish music, using various instruments such as drums, strings and wind instruments to create a warm atmosphere. The audience can not only appreciate the dancers' superb skills, but also feel the unique charm of Turkish culture. Many venues also offer interactive sessions, where audiences have the opportunity to try belly dancing themselves and learn more about the charm of this art form.

A Quiet Escape at IGA Lounge – Istanbul Airport

#celebrateit If you're traveling through the bustling Istanbul Airport, the IGA Lounge is a perfect place to relax and unwind. While the airport can be chaotic, this lounge offers a peaceful, spacious retreat. It’s the ideal spot to escape the noise and enjoy a bit of comfort before your flight. The lounge is impressively quiet and spacious, allowing travelers to truly stretch out and enjoy their time. The atmosphere is calm, making it easy to relax or catch up on work. The food offerings are diverse and delightful, featuring everything from savory meals to sweet treats. I particularly enjoyed the rich, moist pound cake and the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth cookies – a great way to satisfy any craving. **Reasons to Visit:** - Quiet, spacious atmosphere to relax away from the crowd. - Delicious food selection, especially their cakes and cookies. 📍Address: Istanbul Airport, Istanbul, Turkey #Istanbul #Turkey

Suleymaniye Mosque, a mosque with a real heritage.

Suleymaniye Mosque, a mosque with a real heritage.

For first-time visitors to Istanbul, naturally, you have to check in at the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, the two most famous attractions that are very close to each other. The real feeling is: it's beautiful, but there are really a lot of people. Until I saw this Suleymaniye Mosque (Süleymaniye Mosque), I was surprised to find that she is more beautiful than the Blue Mosque in terms of appearance. The Suleymaniye Mosque is located on the top of the mountain, overlooking the Golden Horn, with four minarets at the four corners (this is a treatment that only the Sultan can enjoy). The mosque was ordered to be built by Suleiman the Great, designed by the imperial chief architect Mimar Sinan, and the best stonemasons and ceramic technicians in the Arab world at that time joined the project one after another. The entire mosque is beautiful and can be called the greatest work of art in the Ottoman Empire. In addition to the mosque, there are a series of ancillary buildings, including schools, hospitals, baths, etc., which are very magnificent. This mosque is also the tomb of Suleiman I and his wife Hurrem Sultan. My favorite place is here. This tomb is their resting place, with a sense of tranquility and tranquility. Going out is a wide open space.

East Meets West

Location : Istanbul, Turkey Location : 41.0082° N, 28.9784° E Getting here : Fly in to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport ( Asia side of Istanbul) or Istanbul Atatürk Airport (Europe side of Istanbul) I tried both. Both have different vibes altogether. Getting here by land : You can enter from Greece via train ride from Athens to Thessaloniki. From Thessaloniki to Istanbul via bus. It's a long bus ride so choose the most comfy bus. Some bus have free flow coffee and tea. They serve snacks too. It is included in the bus ticket. Try not to put your valuables in the bottom compartment as people come and go. The immigration process is unique and weird. 1st time I'm encountering passport stamp no need to see immigration officer just pass all the passport to officer, they stamp and they return back to you. I was scared at 1st but that's how they work. I guess land border is different. Turkey is a melting pot. Due to it's location where east meets west. Their cuisine is influenced by many cultures. You will go crazy with the number of turkish sweets available especially if you're a sweet tooth person. And you got to try their "balik sanwich" fish sandwich the best. Eat at the restaurant dont eat at the tourist spot the price is the same. Eat at the restaurant under the bridge with the sea view. The bread is free flow and the fish is fresh and amazing. #eurotrip #passionpassport

Doner Kebab

#2023travelwish We tried the local doner kebab at the walking street from Galata Tower to Taksim Square. The chicken and beef are hang on the stick, and the meat is freshly sliced from the meat sticks when you order from them. You can choose to eat in or take away. Inside the doner kebab, the wrap is included the meat (chicken or beef), cucumber pickles, sliced tomatoes and French fries. The taste is amazing! Istanbul 4 Days Travel Guide

Istanbul 4 Days Travel Guide

My recommendations for Istanbul. Get a ferry, and have a nice Bosphorus tour, try very popular Hafiz Mustafa sweets! Also if you want to eat traditional food, you would need to go to the places with “tarihi” (ancient/old) word. Such places have be open 100-200, and more years, and often high quality! Additionally for the walk I would recommend Bebek, Rumeli hisari, Macka! If you have time, visiting princes’ islands is must have!

Have you ever tried Graten

When I finished touring Galata Tower, I feel need something to fill my stomach. Then, I found Adıgüzel Restaurant just around the corner. I love all their food but I choose Graten eventually. Graten, baked potato with cream, and stuffed with green beans and chicken. Yummy! Last but not least, their prices are reasonable even in famous tourist spot. Graten and Turkish coffee just 70TL. The Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III
2023travelwish

The Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III

#2023travelwish The Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III is a fountain in a Turkish rococo structure in the great square in front of the Imperial Gate of Topkapı Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built under Ottoman sultan Ahmed III in 1728, in the style of the Tulip period. There used to be a small mosque fountain on every corner. Anyone passing by could freely drink the water offered by servants. The location had been deliberately chosen by the sultan, as the people came to this place anyway to get water. Situated next to Imperial Gate of Topkapi Palace. Travel wish for #2023travelwish is to travel around the world with my loved one.
