Silk Road Dream Train: If I hadn't taken it myself, I would have thought it only existed in movies. The train recently launched a 2-day, 1-night China Carnival micro-vacation series, departing from Beijing to Beidaihe and back on the 21st. I decided to go. The train is the destination, with food, drinks, entertainment, and 5-star hotel service. Travel: I boarded at Beijing Fengtai Station. It was the holiday season, and the train was decorated inside and out to create a festive atmosphere. Before boarding, staff lined up to welcome us on the red carpet, and a welcome drink put me in vacation mode. Room: The train has twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms, and suites. You can choose a room according to your needs. Each room has a private butler who will introduce the room and train facilities to you. You can call them 24/7. The room is worth mentioning. The mini bar is stocked with drinks and snacks. After dinner, the bed is made, and fruit, milk, and sleep-inducing aromatherapy are prepared. The bathroom is even more impressive, with a smart toilet, Dyson hair dryer, and THG Paris West Coast shower equipment. It's luxurious and high-end! The train provides ASOPE hand soap and body lotion and MARVIS toothpaste. The train puts the best in your room! Food: The 2-day, 1-night trip includes afternoon tea after boarding at 3 pm. The sun shines on the train, and all the tableware is pure silver from the 17th to 20th centuries. The sunlight sparkles on it. Eating macarons and drinking coffee is a delight. Dinner is prepared by Michelin-starred chefs and 5-star hotel chefs. Whether Chinese or Western, the food is high quality. You can see the chefs cooking. Before dinner ends, the staff will ask you to choose between Chinese noodles with Cantonese dim sum or Western cereal with eggs Benedict for breakfast. Qingming Festival Trip | Qinhuangdao 2-Day Itinerary

The most important thing about traveling is freedom~ 🗓Itinerary: Shanhaiguan: First Pass Under Heaven → Laolongtou (Old Dragon's Head) → Qinhuang Seeking Immortality at Sea → West Harbor Garden → Tiger Stone Marine Park [One] The first stop was Shanhaiguan in Qinhuangdao. If you're not too keen on checking in everywhere, you can stroll around the old town. I only took a photo of the First Pass Under Heaven as a check-in. After taking photos, I went to Laolongtou. It happened to be low tide, and many Qinhuangdao locals were wearing waders and fishing in the sea. There were also many elderly people on the shore collecting shells and other things🐚. Don't miss out if you want to experience beachcombing. It felt very different from other beaches, and it's worth visiting again if I have the chance. [Two] The second stop was Qinhuang Seeking Immortality at Sea. Although it's free, I couldn't find the way to the Seeking Immortality Bridge, and one entrance was forbidden. I wasn't happy because I couldn't see the sea up close, so I didn't enjoy the scenery. Now that I think about it, it would have been nice to climb the Seeking Immortality Palace and enjoy the view. (Later, I found out that you can go down from West Harbor Garden and walk to Qinhuang Seeking Immortality at Sea. There might also be a closer route that we didn't find). There's a photo spot to the left of the Qinhuang Seeking Immortality at Sea plaque, featuring the fourth chapter of the island's fourteen-line poem. It's really suitable for taking photos, with a great atmosphere. Don't miss it if you love photography. There's a supermarket further ahead that sells sausages for ¥0.4 each. It's perfect for buying them to feed the seagulls at the next stop (seagulls are picky eaters now, they don't like bread or steamed buns, but pigeons still eat steamed buns). [Three] The third stop was the photo spot West Harbor Garden. Every visit is a different experience. Last time I went during the off-season, there weren't many photo opportunities. This time, every spot was perfect for taking photos. It's a treasure trove of photo ops. Most of the photos were taken at West Harbor Garden. The highlight was checking in at Lianhong Qintiantian. The staff recommended smoothies, and all of their smoothies are delicious, a must-have for summer trips. We ordered guava and passion fruit smoothies. [Four] The fourth stop was finally Tiger Stone, my most anticipated activity - feeding seagulls! I took many photos of seagulls. The sunset at Tiger Stone is also beautiful, and there's horseback riding. In short, you won't be disappointed if you go to Tiger Stone to feed seagulls. You can rent an electric scooter and ride along the coastal road. If you go a bit further along the coastal road, there's a bathing beach where you can go down, and it's not very crowded. 📝Tips: If you're going, I don't recommend visiting many places in one day like we did. It's best to slow down and enjoy the scenery, relax, take a walk along the coast, and feel the sea breeze. You can choose between the First Pass Under Heaven and Laolongtou for the first three attractions, and arrange the rest of the itinerary for the second day. If the weather is good, you can watch the sunrise, stroll along the beach, and feed the pigeons. For accommodation, I recommend staying near Golden Dream Bay, which is not too far from anywhere. 🧳Preparation before the trip: Down jacket, fleece pants. The wind is quite strong, and it's a bit chilly by the sea.

Qinhuangdao, a city by the Bohai Bay, is like a seaside paradise full of endless romance and surprises, just like the song. In February, the spring chill still lingers, but Qinhuangdao has a unique tranquility and charm. With a longing for the sea, I embarked on this seaside journey. 😃 🔵 Best Time to Visit In February, the temperature in Qinhuangdao ranges from -5°C to 5°C. The weather is cold, and the sea breeze is chilly, but the sea, beach, and blue sky still form a beautiful picture. At this time, there are few tourists, and the summer hustle and bustle is gone. It is the perfect time to experience the tranquility and purity of Qinhuangdao. ✨ 🔵 Itinerary Day 1: Dove Nest Park → Beidaihe Beach → Arcadia Seaside Holiday Hotel (overnight) Arrive in Qinhuangdao in the morning and head straight to Dove Nest Park. At Qinhuangdao!! A stunning sunrise!!

You always have to see a sunrise at the beach, right? ⌚️Date: 2024.1.21 I checked the sunrise time for today, which is 7:20. I arrived at 6:45 and there were already people there. But it's really very cold, so I suggest not to go too early. I didn't go to Pigeon Nest, but I heard that the sea and sky blending as one is also amazing, and now I've experienced it. Today's sunrise was absolutely beautiful! The moment the sun rose, I felt everything was worth it, and it healed me for the whole day❤️‍🩹 The winter sea in Qinhuangdao is really super romantic, I love it so much💕 ⚠️Be sure to dress warmly, gloves, scarf, and hat are essential. It's really windy by the sea in the early morning. I almost froze walking over from where I stayed 4️⃣ For the sake of taking photos, I took off a glove and after a few shots, my hand was numb. The wind by the sea is really no joke, it's piercingly cold. In the end, after taking photos, my right hand was so cold that it hurt. It took a while to recover. Hey Travel Fam!! It’s about a small trip of one day from Jinzhou but we enjoyed the whole day.. The Dragon’s head, it is the ending of the Great Wall & this is the place where the Great Wall meets the sea.. As you know the Great Wall is over 20k kilometers and was built by many dynasties. This is Shanhaiguan (山海关), one of the major passes in the Great Wall of China, being the easternmost stronghold along the Ming Great Wall. Trip details: 📍Shanhaiguan (山海关), 1.After reaching railway station you need to take a taxi, the local drivers have trip plans to places you want to see. don’t forget to bargain!!😁. For us we planned for a Great Wall [two parts, one in mountains which is called the nine gates of Great Wall on water (水上长城九门口) & the Dragon’s head (长城之首老龙头)] and First pass under heaven (天下第一关) and drop at railway station at the end including waiting at these three places total- 80yuans/head 2. Ticket price at nine gates of Great Wall on water (水上长城九门口) - 40yuans/head and extra 10yuans for a ride to go near the wall 3.
