Freeze the beauty of mountains and rivers: Along the banks of Huaxi River, the water is beautiful and the mountains are green. Walking through it is like walking in a painting; in the ancient town of Qingyan, the city walls are mottled and the charm of history is overwhelming. In addition, Guiyang's karst landscape is unique, and the caves, waterfalls, canyons and other landscapes are bizarre and diverse, providing endless fantasy backgrounds for travel photography.

Immersed in the rich folk customs: Guiyang travel photography is deeply rooted in the local culture of the Buyi and Miao ethnic groups, integrating exquisite batik costumes and gorgeous Miao silver accessories into makeup, and the photos fully show the local style. The photographer will go deep into the villages with you to experience the folk traditions while capturing the most down-to-earth moments, and the pictures are full of humanistic warmth.

Highly recommended!!!

Highly recommended!!!

The room and supplies are very clean, and the water cups are sterilized and sealed to avoid dust. The service is very attentive, patient, and responsive to all requests. It truly lives up to Huawei's management standards, and any business centered around customer satisfaction will do well. The breakfast tastes good and is filling. The laundry service is excellent; the auntie washes clothes every day. I originally brought a week's worth of clothes, but I found out I didn't need them at all. I'll know better next time.

Huaxi Park, Guiyang, Guizhou, China

Getting There - There are various options of transport to get there depending on where you’re coming from. The park is near the busy center of Huaxi district so it’s very conveniently located. There are multiple entrances to the park so one can come from either side and still get access without a hustle. Attractions - It’s a park so there’s mostly greenery. The air is fresh and there’s a large lake inside, definitely a good place to relax. Some go in for swimming in the lake, and some go in for fishing. On a weekend you’ll mostly see people have picnics on the green grass and the elderly usually meet up in groups to dance & play draft and poker. The views are to die for, super beautiful for someone who loves nature photography. Hotels - There are numerous hotels nearby. Food & Restaurants - There are many places to get food and snacks inside. Shopping - I haven’t seen any souvenir shopping places but I’m sure there are some inside. Overall, the park is a peaceful and beautiful place to spend some time at. I’ld recommend it. Wait, did I mention that it’s free entry, yes, free free free… #gthatguy1 #travel #guizhou

underrated Quanhu park.❤️

Not as popular as the Qianling park, but this park is a real gem. A free people's park in the heart of Guiyang. One of the Top 10 recommended urban park to visit in Guizhou. Standing majestically is the Yun Tower (a beehive wooden structure with 7 floors), that serves as the iconic symbol for Quanhu park. The park features Khongshan mountain (for hikers), the Xiputuo temple, the Yelang Ancient city, tons of hidden gardens, a man made lake, a snack street, a childrens play station, and many more. Attraction location: Quanhu park, 142 Guiyang, Baiyun district, Guiyang, Guizhou Admission: FREE #wheninguizhou #solofemaletraveler #explorechina #themepark

Jiaxu Pavilion- History at night 🌙

Situated in the middle of bustling Guiyang, on its own little island in the Nanming River, with a lush park on one bank and trendy bars and restaurants on the other, is a slice of Ming dynasty history. The Jiaxu Pavillion dates back to 1598 and it has been restored a number of times in the following dynasties. It is worth exploring during the day, however, as night approaches and the temperature drops the area becomes alive as both locals and tourists descend upon this attraction. The whole structure and the adjacent walkways are lit up beautifully and it is perfect for some holiday snapshots. Try some of the freshly squeezed orange juice plied by vendors on the bridge to the pavilion. #history #historicallandmarks #historicculture

Hike and pray 🙏🌈😍

Inside the infamous Quanhu park lies Mt. Khongshan. Mt. Khongshan is one of the featured scenic areas inside the park. Its not too high to climb but its high. It took me 45mins to hike up. At the bottom of it, there is another pathway, going to these altar. Just a little bit of hike and when you get to the platform, there's a God in the cave. Believed to be a protecting God, patrons get their red ribbons (not buying, just give donations) then offer prayer to the God in the cave. Quanhu park is located in Guanshanhe rd, Guiyang district, Guizhou. Free entrance for Quanhu park as it is a people's park. Operation Hours: 9am - 6pm #solofemaletraveler #wheninguizhou #explorechina

Guiyang 201 Building

Today, I had nothing to do in the afternoon, so I went to 201 Building in Guiyang to have some tea. The place looks really high-end. I don't know how much a private room costs, but I'm just here to enjoy it quietly! I got hungry and had a braised chicken leg sandwich from the Work Forest, followed by a Guiyang specialty, potato cake. It looked scary but tasted delicious, quite an odd combination! Haha! Recently, Liuzhou snail noodles have become very popular, so I tried some and also ordered a fried egg. The sour bamboo shoots need to be really flavorful to taste good, similar to stinky tofu—the stinkier, the better! Amazing! In the evening, I took a walk around the Key Building to digest my food before heading home. Location Name: 201 Building Address: No. 3 Zhongtian Road, Guanshanhu District, Guiyang, Guizhou Province (1.1 km walk from the International Eco-Conference Center Metro Station (Exit C))

Twin towers, White House: Guiyang, Huaguoyuan

Getting There - There are buses, meter taxis or one can order a Didi to the park. Attractions - There are beautiful state of the art buildings including the recently built twin towers, the White House (huge castle facing the park: word in the street is it is apparently a private home that belongs to two brothers who settled in Huaguoyuan a long time ago, and they are the ones that have developed it to be what it is today) Hotels - I initially thought the White House was a hotel but it ain’t, there are lots of hotels around though accommodating all ranges of people. Food & Restaurants - This is located in the heart of the CBD of Huaguoyuan, so there are vast amounts of places to wine and dine. Shopping - There is a mall on one side of the park and you can shop for literally anything from there. The views are so spectacular at night, so I thought I would share with you guys. #gthatguy1 #guiyang #huaguoyuan #guizhou #passionpassport
