Day 1: Arrive at Qingshan Lake at noon—in77—19:30 West Lake Music Fountain—Wulin Night Market Day 2: Faxi Temple—Lingyin Temple—Xiaohe Zhijie—Wulin Night Market Day 3: Shaoxing Lu Xun's Hometown—Cangqiao Zhijie Day 1 Arrived in Hangzhou at 11:00. After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I went to Qingshan Lake Park, which is the farthest stop! The ticket is CNY 40. I recommend buying a travel card in advance, which costs CNY 15 per day and can be used for unlimited rides! It's a bit far, but it's super beautiful! Then I took the subway back to West Lake to see the music fountain. There were a lot of people, and there were four songs. in77 is right next to it, so you can take a stroll. Wulin Night Market is also quite close. I had a card, so I took the subway for one stop. Day 2 First, I went to Faxi Temple. I took the subway and then transferred to a shuttle bus, which cost CNY 5 and went directly to the temple. It was quite beautiful, and the photos turned out great! There weren't many people around 10:30. Then I took a bus from Faxi Temple to Lingyin Temple, arriving at around 12:00. The ticket for the first gate is CNY 45, and the ticket for Lingyin Temple is CNY 30. There were a lot of people on Saturday. Then I prayed for 18 seeds. After visiting, it was already 15:00. Then I took the subway to Xiaohe Zhijie, which is very similar to the streets in Suzhou. Many Christmas decorations were already up! After visiting, I went home! Day 3 I got up early and took the subway to Shaoxing. The travel card was no longer valid at Guniangqiao Station, so I had to exit the station and scan the subway code again to enter. I went directly to Lu Xun's Hometown and took a walk around. The yellow rice wine popsicle was super delicious, but the yellow rice wine milk tea was just average. Further inside is Baicao Garden, and further inside is Sanwei Study. You can swipe your ID card to enter without a reservation. A little further ahead is the popular Lu Xun Lighting a Cigarette. Since we had to catch a train in the afternoon, we only went to Lu Xun's Hometown and Cangqiao Zhijie. It was quite relaxing, without the heavy commercial atmosphere of Xiaohe Zhijie. We visited Qingteng Book House and Xu Wei Art Museum, which are very close to each other. After visiting, we went home! Overall, I visited a few places and didn't feel very tired, but I felt like I had seen enough. When I lay down, I felt like there were a lot of people in Hangzhou! The subway was crowded everywhere, but the scenery was quite beautiful. I also had a good impression of Shaoxing. It felt like a great place to live, similar to Suzhou. As the saying goes, "Above there is heaven, below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou."

However the restaurant was quite hard to locate (I had to call for a pick-up).🫠 The place is quite chilled (no need to dress up). I really enjoyed their dragon fruit juice. it was yummy 😋. I heard that the Hangzhou Palace Banquet was being held in the paradise of the human world, so I descended from the celestial realm to attend this immersive visual, auditory, and gustatory feast of Jiangnan Song Dynasty charm in 2025! It was truly magnificent, indescribable, and stunning! At the Zhejiang World Trade Center, I instantly traveled through time and space. I received a token from the beautiful palace maids at the front desk, selected my favorite costume from hundreds of ancient outfits, and had the makeup artist transform me into a celestial butterfly fairy. Surrounded by handsome and beautiful nobles from various dynasties, it was truly a feast for the eyes! The circular Hangzhou Palace Banquet made me feel like I was in the midst of a grand feast. Before the banquet, there were Song Dynasty tea performances and Han Dynasty wine toasting performances. After the banquet began, the performances were even more spectacular and dazzling! From the fire of Liangzhu in Hangzhou to the leisurely Water Melody, the beauty of the celestial painter in The Smiling, Proud Wanderer, the life of Hangzhou's governor Su Shi, the classic drama of Liang Zhu, the elaborate palace costume shows, the enticing Western Region dance, the enchanting Flower Hairpin Man, to the lively New Year market, and even the unique chef's curtain call show. The lighting, stage design, costumes, water curtain, and realistic scenes of rain, snow, and flying flowers, combined with the actors' appearances, were stunning! The seating, tableware, dishes, and service at the palace banquet were all in the style of Jiangnan's palace cuisine. The stove brewed Da Hong Pao tea in a purple clay teapot, the crystal goblet held osmanthus green plum wine, the arch bridge had four cold dishes, salted meat tofu pot, nourishing stewed fish maw, black truffle shrimp balls, slow-cooked beef, green crab noodle soup, cinnamon jasmine drink, spring noodles, candied haws, and osmanthus yogurt. Each dish had a light and shadow introduction, and I enjoyed the performances while eating, savoring the food culture of Jiangnan! Each palace banquet performance and dish varied, and I was very satisfied and liked the beautiful meal that took four hours to eat.
