Cairns is the only place on earth that has two UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites - the Great Barrier Reef and the Rainforest.

Feel the shock of natural wonders: Cairns, as the gateway to North Queensland, Australia, has the world's oldest and most dense tropical rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The helicopter experience allows you to overlook the vast coral reefs, tropical islands and sandbanks, and the magnificent scenery that blends with the lush rainforest from the air.

Convenient take-off and landing and flexible routes: The take-off and landing point of Cairns helicopter experience is located near the city center, with convenient transportation. The flight pass includes important landmarks such as Cairns International Airport, Port Douglas, the Great Barrier Reef and the Rainforest National Park, allowing you to appreciate the whole picture of Cairns in a short time. The flight time is usually 30 minutes to 40 minutes, which can meet the needs of different tourists.

Excellent climate for ideal flight: Cairns is located in the tropics, with warm and humid climate and plenty of sunshine all year round, providing ideal natural conditions for helicopter flights. Even in the rainy season, the weather here is mostly short showers, and the sky is clearer after the rain, which is a great time to watch rainbows and take beautiful photos.

Professional services and value-added experience: Cairns helicopter operators usually provide a full range of value-added services. Professional pilots will provide you with detailed explanations, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of the geography, culture and ecology of the flight. In addition, you can also choose photo and video services to record this unforgettable aerial journey. Some service providers also offer ground activities combined with helicopter experiences, such as tropical rainforest hiking, coral reef snorkeling, etc., allowing you to fully experience the charm of Cairns.

Goose Specialty Coffee

#australiatrip Best Cafe ever! Came to Cairns on a work trip and found this gem close by. The service, food, coffee and atmosphere were top tier, so I visited three days in a row pretty much as soon as it opened its doors. It was my most anticipated meal of the day!! I tried the pecorino crisp (cheesy mushrooms), avo toast and smoked duo (salmon with heirloom tomatoes) and an ice latte in sunny Cairns is a must. Not to mention their smoothies were also delicious, so I also bought that on the go almost every day to keep hydrated.

Jewelled sea - natural wonder downunder

It has always been one of my bucket lists to visit the Great Barrier Reef and it certainly did not disappoint! The weather was perfect on our sailing day with cerulean blue sky and light breeze. We booked a cruise tour which included two reef locations- Saxon Reef and Hasting Reef. It was one of the most amazing experience ever! The two sites were quite different in terms of their marine landscapes and great for different activities. The Saxon Reef was relatively greater in depth and would be a perfect location for a dive, whereas Hasting Reef has spectacular coral reef at proximity even when snorkelling. We saw a huge local fish called ‘Wally’ (Maori Wrasse) and many other marine life! Would love to visit another reef next time! Tips: even if the sea was calm, highly recommend to take sea sickness prevention pills in advance. #greatbarrierreef #naturalwonders #queensland #cairns #australia

They are 2-3 hours ahead of Beijing time, so you need to adjust your bus to avoid missing the wonderful itinerary. ✈️ 3️⃣ Australia has a super famous specialty—Australian abalone. Remember to bring some cash. 1kg of Australian abalone is about 800 Chinese yuan. 🥳 4️⃣ As for food, you must order a portion of Australian-style grilled lamb chops. Cruze Coffee

#australiatrip Wow, wow, wow... what an experience! The smell of coffee bean is what brought me to this wonderful little gem in the heart of Cairns. I was blown away by the selection of beans on offer. With so much to choose from, I asked the service staff "I will have what is a popular blend" as I am no coffee connoisseur. The iced coffee brew was amazing. Smooth, rich and creamy... they staff (maybe the owner) took great pride in his shop and the service was top quality. I will be heading back next time I am in Cairns to hopefully enjoy more of the wide range of beans on display.

Munro Martin Parklands

#australiatrip Nice park in Cairns, just north of the CBD, and a block or two inland from the hospital. In between Grafton and Sheridan Streets. Multi-purpose, with a big stage in the middle and grass seating to enjoy the odd performances. At the northern end of the park, more trees and shrubs. Park is gated. Only a few entry and exit points. Beautifully set out, great asset to the community.

Welsh’s Pyramid Mountain

Welsh’s Pyramid Mountain

Walshs Pyramid is an independent peak with a distinct pyramidal appearance, located within Wooroonooran National Park, 20 km south of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. An annual footrace is held on the third Saturday in August, to its summit. A very steep walk/ rock climb ! You need a reasonable amount of fitness to finish this. I recommend starting early - it took about 4 hours for me, from 7am to 11am. I carried 2 litres of water with me and that was fine. I would recommend bringing a snack to keep you going - it's a tough one. Do not attempt this in summer because there is not much shade. After the rain do not attempt because a lot of the walking/ climbing is over rocks that get really slippery after rain. It gets really warm so bring a hat! I've seen kids do it but you definitely wanna make sure you're bringing fit kids up.

Wharf ONE Cafe

Wharf ONE Cafe

#australiatrip Great spot for breakfast. Wharf One has one of the best positions in Cairns! We had a brekky burger, and also “The One”. Both were tasty, service was fast, and the coffee was hot. My favourite cafe in Cairns! There’s heaps of variety on the menu, and lots of drinks options. The food and service here has always been consistently good. They definitely have the best, most scenic location in Cairns, right on the waterfront looking over the inlet to the mountains in the east.

Muddy's Cafe

#australiatrip We arrived Thursday evening in Cairns, Friday we visited Muddy’s Cafe for the first time for breakfast … we have been back every day following. We had lunch for the last time as we fly out early tomorrow morning. We had breakfast, lunch and dinners the past four days - absolutely fantastic. If you have a chance to visit, do so you won’t regret it. Yes there are waiting times as it’s always busy but they tell you on forehand how long but you get your food always quicker then they say - be patience it’s worth it. Staff is very friendly and helpful, you only have to ask. We will be back on our next visit to Cairns.

#australiatrip Awesome little Cafe on Spence Street in the heart of Cairns. Open for breakfast and lunch, same menu so breakfast available at lunch time too. I was staying around the corner at Pullman International Hotel just 2 minutes walk away. Had breakfast a few times, toast, yoghurt cup and their big breakfast which was delicious. Very friendly staff and very good coffee. They got 2 blends of coffee, smooth or strong. Yum

Caffiend

#australiatrip Great food, awesome service. We came here twice in the same trip because of how nice this place is. The waitresses are friendly and would come check on us to ask if we need anything. I love the Spiked Ice Tea. It’s very refreshing. The Caffiend Chilly Eggs (with avocado and bacon) is also good. Overall 10/10, warm and very responsive staff, lovely atmosphere, food was exceptional
