The Sphere in Vegas!

SAVE THIS for Vegas! Watched Darren Aronofsky's "Postcard From Earth" at the Sphere @spherevegas in Las Vegas, and I'm absolutely blown away! We sat at Sec 307, Row 7, Seat 1 and 2, one section beside the middle section because the middle seats were too expensive. This venue is a game-changer for immersive experiences, with its state-of-the-art visuals and surround sound creating a breathtaking journey. Aronofsky's visionary storytelling, combined with the Sphere's cutting-edge technology, made for a sensory overload that's hard to describe. 5-star hotel circle

One of the must-do's in Las Vegas is walking along the Strip and soaking up the sights. It's particularly impressive at night, when the city is illuminated by an endless succession of glittering neon signs. This area is a never-ending feast for the senses. Generally speaking, the Las Vegas Strip runs from the Mandalay Bay Hotel to Treasure Island Hotel. To truly experience Las Vegas, stay on The Strip, preferably at one of the major resorts. #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Reflagged as a Waldorf Astoria in 2018 and reopened after a renovation, this CityCenter property is located directly on the Las Vegas Strip, but feels fully removed from its 24/7 sense of chaos. It’s a six-minute drive from McCarran Airport, so if you’re looking to bolt from your gate directly to the spa, this is a good choice As it was before it became a Waldorf Astoria, the property remains a comfortable high-end — and often relatively affordable — stay in the heart of Las Vegas. close to all the action at CityCenter, however, is a nice feature. And if you’re the type that doesn’t need or want a dinging, flashing, crowd-filled inside your hotel, this is a great option. #uniquelodging

Skimos Coffee Shop

The located in the heart of Green Valley and serves up latin inspired drinks.I don’t hear a lot of buzz around Skimos but we finally made it out to the shop after having it on our list for months. When you enter the shop you’re greeted with a muted color palette of blacks and grays with a light wooden floor. The Skimo’s logo, which is very well done, backdrops the cafe nicely. A collection of black tables and chairs line the restaurant and we found our chairs really comfortable and nice to relax in. The coffee menu features Olympia Coffee out of Washington and has all of the typical coffee drinks along with a few specialty items. If you have never tried a spicy mexican mocha this is the place to try it! The food menu features assorted pastries and a collection of toasts, wraps, and bowls. I thought the prices on the food were very reasonable compared to some of the other coffee shops in town. It was nice to have a food menu that felt manageable in terms of size. On our visit we got the Elvis Toast which is a toast with peanut butter, banana, and bacon! The savoriness of the bacon really brought out the sweetness of the bananas and was wonderful. For coffee we got the hazelnut latte and a cappuccino. I really liked their cappuccino and found it to strike a great balance between milk and coffee. Baylee really liked the hazelnut latte and found the hazelnut flavor to be really powerful and delicious. One of my favorite parts about Skimos was the music as it brought me a sense of relaxation which I love with my morning cup of coffee. The vibe in the shop was very laid back and I think that makes it a great place to study, write, or get any work done. We recommend checking out Skimos if you are in the area. It’s also a female, minority owned business which we love to support. #christmasgiveaway #mapletrees #luxuryhotel #skiing #nationalpark
