5 Pagodas, classic India style in Hohhot

A last minute decision to squeeze in a visit to the Five Pagoda Temple was wise. It is a little out of the way, near the Qingcheng Park. There are several small temple structures leading to the pagoda, that have beautiful traditional wall paintings and large central sculptures, but there was also a lovely display of golden sacred statuary worthy of any museum. The main structure is a large gray temple consisting of a stupa surrounded by 5 pagodas. The stupa has 1,563 images of Buddha carved into the walls. They all seem the same but as you focus on them each is slightly different. The pagoda was constructed in 1732. It was a hot sunny summer day when we visited but there many shady places filled with flowers. #awesomepic #urbanexplorer #awesomepic

Hohhot - A city of Culture

Surrounded by fresh air, green grasslands and mountain hikes- Hohhot is the perfect starting point for a Inner Mongolian adventure. Considering the climate and the relative comfort of the city, it’s a good introduction to the rest of the province, giving you things to see without starting off too extreme. One such great thing to do is to just wander around. Starting in the heart of downtown you can quickly walk through multiple temple complexes, as well as a couple of mosques - that diversity being a notable point of reference that makes for an interesting view. Then, when you’re ready, grab a bowl of hot noodles and it’s time to get ready for the rest of your adventure. #ancienttomb#museumquest#culturalattractions

Hohhot 🇨🇳 Inner Mongolia

Hohhot 🇨🇳 Inner Mongolia

A city on the rise!!! Hohhot has the best lamb dishes. The ribs, skewers and coriander dishes were delicious. The city has a rich history with lots on show for you to visit. The temples, statues and religious buildings are still key hubs in the community. The best way to explore the city is on the electric scooters that are all around the city with wide bike lanes to suit. In the Hohhot history museum there are some great exhibits covering thousands of years of Inner Mongolian history and wildlife. The bars and hotels in Hohhot are developing as the City expands, but there are some great craft beer bars and rooftop spots for an evening above the city. I've no doubt in the future Hohhot will be a vibrant city with tons to offer. For now it's a fun city to visit for a day before you head to the desert or grasslands. Definitely order some lamb ribs

Hohhot 3 Days 2 Nights Guide | Lazy Person's Free Travel Guide get

Hohhot's weather is so nice that a casual snapshot is very healing. ➡️What can you do in Hohhot city area? This time I didn't go to the grasslands, as the grass hasn't grown in April, so I mainly wandered around the city area for two days~ 1⃣️Dazhao Temple: Recommended level🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Pictures 1 to 8 The ticket is 35 per person, we didn't make a reservation and just scanned the code to buy it at the temple entrance~ The temple is very large, with a visiting time of one hour, it has very large Buddha statues and buildings, very characteristic of Mongolia, and the photos look great~ Mongolian portrait photography📷: This time I took one at a photo studio, 299 per person, including makeup and clothes, photography, thirty negatives and eight retouched photos ☑️Photography experience: The service attitude is very good, I am very satisfied with the makeup! I wish I could weld the cloud decoration onto my face haha, the photographer will tell you a lot of movements that suit you👋☑️❤️ 2⃣️Baohantan Pagoda: Recommended level🌟🌟🌟🌟 Free admission🆓 The pagoda is really beautiful when the lights are on at night! There is a pair of eyes on the tower that feels very mysterious, and when I got there, it was already night, after taking photos you can walk around the tower three times to pray for peace~ 3⃣️Xilitu Zhao: Recommended level🌟🌟🌟 The ticket is 25 per person, not very cost-effective There are a lot of pigeons at the entrance that are very photogenic! The temple is relatively small, and you can quickly walk around it, there is also a tower inside that looks very good, when there is sunlight it feels like a golden shining pagoda! 4⃣️Qingzhen Mosque: Recommended level🌟🌟🌟🌟 Free admission🆓 The temple has a great vibe, when the wind blows the ribbons fluttering everywhere it's really healing! But it's also a bit small and you can finish visiting soon~ ➡️What can you eat in Hohhot city area? This time I mainly ate at two restaurants, neither of which was a disappointment! 1⃣️Ice-cooked lamb: Recommended level🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Originally we went to Ze Cheng which always requires queuing, and the service attitude was not good so we ran to another one. It turned out to be quite delicious! There are group purchase meal vouchers, we bought a double set for 129, and we were very full! The lamb is very fresh, without any off-flavor~ 2⃣️De Shun Yuan: Recommended level🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The average price of this restaurant is 30 per person, super cheap We ordered a lamb offal soup and shaomai The lamb shaomai is so delicious! Fresh and juicy, as a local Cantonese, I really love it, no gamey taste~ ➡️Where can you stay in Hohhot city area? This time we stayed at the four-star Wan Hao Hotel, four hundred a night, the environment is very good, only ten minutes drive from Hohhot East Station The hotel is very smart, with smart toilets and curtains, and I am very satisfied with the bathroom with wet and dry separation! ➡️How to get around in Hohhot city area? Ride a shared electric scooter🛵! There are several companies! It can seat two people, highly recommended! If it's too far, you can take a taxi, it's very convenient and not expensive in Hohhot~ In the end, I want to say! Although there are not many things to play with in Hohhot, there were not many tourists during Qingming, it was not crowded and very quiet, and I also took some nice photos, personally, I am quite satisfied~

At Hohhot Ocean World, encounter a blue dream.

At Hohhot Ocean World, encounter a blue dream.

Hey guys! I recently went to Hohhot Ocean World and was absolutely amazed. I have to share this joy! As soon as I entered the ocean world, it was like stepping into another world. In the huge acrylic glass tanks, colorful tropical fish swam in schools, their graceful movements resembling flowing ribbons. The most surprising thing was encountering the rays. Their flat bodies swam elegantly, as if soaring in the air. They would also playfully approach the glass and interact with visitors, which was super healing. The highlight was the dolphin and sea lion show. Dolphins leaped high out of the water, creating perfect arcs, while the adorable sea lions skillfully performed tricks like ball balancing, clapping, and saluting, drawing cheers from the entire audience. The trainers' seamless coordination with them was both heartwarming and awe-inspiring. The ocean world not only has dreamy marine life but also an educational area that introduces ocean knowledge in an engaging way. Bringing children here allows them to have fun while learning, making it a win-win situation. When you're tired from exploring, the food court offers a variety of snacks, such as takoyaki and grilled squid, filling the air with delicious aromas and satisfying your taste buds. Don't miss the souvenir shop either, where you can find adorable ocean-themed trinkets perfect for taking home as gifts. This trip to Hohhot Ocean World was filled with laughter and surprises, making it an unforgettable blue dream journey. Guys, hurry up and encounter your own ocean romance!
