Introduction Paris Opera Performances

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Paris Opera performances are an artistic feast that transcends time and space. From the Baroque dome of the Paris Opera to the modern steel structure of the Bastille Opera, different architectural styles provide diverse stage backgrounds for performances. Classic works such as "Carmen" and "La Bohème" are resident in the repertoire, and singers interpret the interweaving of love and fate with gorgeous singing. The newly built theater tends to be experimental, integrating electronic music and dance into opera performances. Audiences can choose to experience according to the architectural features of the theater, such as appreciating Victorian costumes under crystal chandeliers at the Garnier Opera House, or experiencing the combination of avant-garde installation art and sound and light effects at the Chatelet Theater.

Some theaters provide multilingual guided tours to help tourists understand the background of the plot. Between performances, tourists can also visit the backstage museum to observe the century-old costumes and musical instrument collections up close. The Paris Opera is not only an artistic performance, but also a comprehensive experience of architecture, costumes, and music, allowing people to appreciate the cultural heritage behind French elegance.

Jardin Federico García Lorca

#paristrip Sit under a tree on the banks of the Seine watching the children play, jogging the passers-by, the barges floating in the heart of Paris. In summer, enjoy an ice cream on a deck chair or take a coffee break at a table on the banks of the Seine. A little happiness! The Square Federico-García-Lorca is at the end of rue de Lobeau, and is accessible by a bridge from the Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville.

Find one of a kind craftsmanship here!

#traveldiaries While exploring Paris, I stumbled upon a charming handicraft shop that instantly captured my attention. The moment I walked in, I was enveloped by the inviting atmosphere filled with the scent of wood and fresh paint. Each corner showcased beautiful handmade goods, from intricate jewelry to unique home décor items. I loved discovering pieces created by local artisans, each telling its own story. The craftsmanship was exceptional, and I couldn’t resist picking up a few souvenirs to take home. I also learned that the shop often hosts workshops, allowing visitors to engage with the craft community. It was such a delightful experience, immersing myself in the artistic spirit of Paris and supporting independent creators.

Notre-Dame de Fourvière: A Stunning Landmark Overlooking Lyon

Perched high on a hill overlooking the city of Lyon, Notre-Dame de Fourvière is one of France’s most iconic basilicas, offering a blend of breathtaking architecture and sweeping views. This remarkable site is not only a religious sanctuary but also a symbol of the city’s deep spiritual and cultural heritage. The basilica was built in the late 19th century, and its design combines elements of Byzantine and Romanesque styles, making it a striking contrast to Lyon’s more traditional French architecture. The building’s façade is adorned with intricate carvings, while the interior features vibrant mosaics and stained glass windows that create a mesmerizing atmosphere. The crypt beneath the basilica is another noteworthy part of the complex, with its own set of remarkable decorations and murals. Visitors can reach the basilica by walking up a series of steps or taking the funicular from the Vieux Lyon area, allowing them to enjoy the panoramic view of Lyon as they ascend. Once at the top, the basilica offers stunning views of the city, stretching out to the surrounding hills and rivers. It’s a popular spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy the beauty of Lyon from above, especially at sunset when the city is bathed in golden light. The basilica is also home to the Fête des Lumières, an annual event where the church and the surrounding areas are illuminated in a spectacular display, attracting visitors from around the world. Whether visiting for its religious significance, architectural beauty, or stunning vistas, Notre-Dame de Fourvière is a must-see for anyone exploring Lyon. #europetrip

Give Your Taste Buds A Treat (Virtus)

This Michelin Star restaurant will blow you away. It is by far the most worth Michelin restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. From the moment you step foot into the restaurant you know you’re taken care of. Address: 29 Rue de Cotte, 75012 Paris, France Rating: 5/5 Amenities: Restroom and Coat Hangars Pricing: 100 Euros for a 5-course meal There’re too many things to praise about this place but I’ll just review my top 3 highlights: 1. Their homemade brioche (4th photo) is absolutely delightful. As the first thing we ate there, it definitely set the bar for the rest that’s to come. The bread was so warm and fluffy, that always leaves a buttery taste on your tongue. The skin is so crunchy and easily tearable that you’d wish it had more layers for you to indulge. 2. Mushroom dish (3rd photo) is just mushroom with mushroom sauce with more mushroom. If you’re a mushroom lover, not only will you love the variety but the way they prepared everything and the sauce.. the sauce is to die for and I would travel back to Paris just for this sauce. It’s really good 3. Duck and Fish (first 2 photos) were the main dishes and it’s hard to split them because they were both eye opening dishes. I’ve never had duck and fish like this before. It’s somehow sweet and savoury at the same time?! #foodie #tripblazers #2023TravelWish

Paris Trip) Van Gogh.

Orsay Museum, where you can see many of Van Gogh's paintings. It's my favorite museum. My favorite artist is Monet, and I get excited about Impressionist works, so Orsay is like my playground, haha. If you only look at the famous works, it might not take long, but there are so many great pieces throughout the museum that if you look carefully, you might need to spend half a day :)
