Introduction Pottery Classes in Hanoi

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Hanoi, as a cultural treasure of Vietnam, invites you to step into an exotic pottery class, appreciate the thousand-year-old pottery heritage in the streets and alleys of the ancient city, and start a folk custom journey on your fingertips.

Classic content: The course duration is generally 2-6 hours, focusing on Hanoi's traditional pottery. The local clay is used, which has a fine and unique texture. Students can learn hand-throwing, painted decoration, and open-air wood-fired kiln firing, which fully demonstrates the ancient charm. Students can take away the Hanoi-style pottery works they made by hand after completing the course to continue their artistic memory.

Class size is small, and teachers are strong: The class size is usually small, and you can get personalized guidance from the teacher, but the atmosphere is warm and harmonious, inspiring unlimited creativity. Most of the ceramic artists who teach are local folk masters, who are well versed in the essence of Hanoi ceramics and have a strong style. They started with a demonstration of real objects and accompanied the students throughout the whole process to ensure that they mastered the traditional skills.

Flexible courses and distinctive facilities: Courses can be arranged at any time. Accompanied by the river breeze and the lights of the ancient city, immerse yourself in pottery creation and experience the slow life in Hanoi. The venue is equipped with multiple production tables, and the pottery-making tools are simple and practical. The wood-fired kiln is built according to the ancient method. Although the firing is slow, it can give the works a unique texture. The electric kiln is also available to meet various needs.

Experiencing pottery courses in Hanoi is not only about learning a skill, but also a reflection of a lifestyle. The pottery courses here allow you to deeply experience the transformation from clay to art, and feel the charm of handcrafts that have been passed down for thousands of years. Come to Hanoi, leave an unforgettable pottery mark, and start a new exploration of art.

Special

This is a very unique sort of a place with the vintage ambience. There is something artistic about it as well as old and photogenic. It was a really nice place, that is sort of hidden from the road so you can't hear the bike or car sounds which was great. The place was cozy and there are some muaic instruments. The music was great too. We went in the afternoon for a while and then went back again in the evening because we liked it so much. It was lot better than places with tourists and noise. We tried their cold brew coffee and passion fruit juice. Both were very nice. #vietnamtrip #hanoi #hiddencafes

A Beautiful Cafe in Hanoi🇻🇳

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 Not only was the Hidden Gem Cafe space beautiful, the coffee was also delicious, sipping our drinks as we looked out to the chaos outside while feeling the tranquility inside. We ordered ourselves their signature Coconut Coffee—this was delicious!!! When walking around this cafe, you will notice a lot of environmental messages like Save Water, Save Trees and also many of their furnishings are made of recycled objects such as the seats, lights and the tables have parts of motorcycles as body and legs, really interesting and a great concept! Hidden Gem Cafe is a lovely coffeehouse that truly lives up to its name. It would be kind of hard to spot the entrance to the cafe if you are not really looking for it. Many coffeehouses in Hanoi are hidden in plain sight jus like this…but their coffees are truly amazing! #freehotelstay #foodie #本地遊 #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #tripblazers #awesomepic #cafe #summervacation #travel

🇻🇳🍜Delicious Food in Hanoi🍜🇻🇳

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 Tucked away in an alley is this amazing hole in a wall noodle restaurant-‘Pho Suong’ Suong in Vietnamese means ‘satisfy’, according to the owner, the restaurant was named this to trigger customers' curiosity. It also refers to the way they want their customers to feel after eating their best pho in Hanoi. And they were right about that, this was on my eat-list in Hanoi, the light and sweet broth is the highlight of their famous dish ‘Pho Bo’ which is made from stewing beef bones and meat for hours. The beef is also on point, steak well done and is not dry also manages to retain a certain level of moisture. Each piece of beef is carefully thin-sliced, tender, and meaty. We were smitten with our Beef Pho, adding the garlic, lime and chili peppers found on the table took the dish to a whole new level. We sweat like crazy eating this dish up but it was totally worth it😋 P.S. Went for a walk after that and had some really delicious Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls from one of the restaurants on Beer Street😋This was another tasty dish especially when dipped in that sweet and sour vinegar sauce. 📍Pho Suong Old Quarter,Hanoi #timetotravel #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #hanoi #foodies #food #vietnam

Completely different from other tea and cake shops, Pavone stands out with its maximalism style, so the whole shop exudes bright colors, impressive and luxurious lines. For me, Pavone is probably the "Best Entremet in town" because the cakes here are decorated very elaborately and impressively, focusing only on quality. The shop has 3 floors, the 3rd floor will be used to organize Entremet workshops instructed by Pavone's Head Pastry Chef. The cakes here are really different from other entremet cake shops, meticulously decorated, meticulous, and sophisticated even to the flavor. Today I tried Passion Pasies and Luscious Strawberry. Passion Pasies has a soft and moist sponge cake layer, fragrant with passion fruit, mango, and pineapple. Luscious Strawberry has a soft, fragrant mousse, and fresh strawberries. Both cakes have a soft filling and still have the fresh taste of fruit. I find the cakes here are not too sweet with the taste of sugar, instead, the sweetness of fruit mixed with fresh cream, very worth trying. The shop also has extremely cute birthday cakes. The tea here is also super delicious, strong tea flavor, the aroma of fruit is clear, not syrup. Especially, there is delivery and free shipping with bills from 500 cases. Recommended, ladies and gentlemen #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe #pastry

276A Nghi Tam, Tay Ho, Hanoi ⏰: 8am-11pm 💸 40-65K I was free to wander around West Lake and discovered a familiar shop that changed its decor, so I had to turn around and take a few photos. I have to say that Moment really changes its decor, it's almost summer so there's a corner like a beach vacation. Inside, there's a corner like taking a lookbook in a studio, so cute. The drinks are beautifully decorated, highly recommend the pandan dishes for you guys, they're fragrant and extremely unique. #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe

From the space to the food, everything makes me satisfied. I personally like cute, chill restaurants, eating while enjoying the view, Ivegan is covered in an extremely pleasant green color. Today I ordered Bun Tron, Vegan Katsu Burger, Smoothie Bowl, 3 bottles of Detox with 3 different flavors, but each flavor is delicious. Oh, the restaurant uses Oatside Oat milk, which is hot, so I also ordered Capuchino, the flavor is completely different from other places. The total loss for 3 people is a bit much, but each person is less than 150 cups, because the portion is quite large, so if you go to the restaurant, order a little less, it's okay, don't leave leftovers like us. #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe

HOCA CAFÉ

#vietnamtrip P Does anyone see this coffee shop decorated like a kindergarten classroom? Hoca Cafe is a brand new coffee shop for the brothers in Dong Da district. The space of the shop is small and cute, the tables and chairs are placed a bit close together so it is a bit difficult to move around. Inspired by the Fish Lake, the decor and the names of the drinks are very suitable. The shop is suitable for gathering friends, and it is also good to sit and study in the morning. The drink menu is neat, I don't remember the name of the drink I ordered but I remember it was okay. I also ordered a brownie which was also delicious. ...Ka is a small coffee shop in Hanoi, they have a wide variety of coffee and tea products. You can drink there or buy coffee bottles to bring home. This Mid-Autumn Festival, they held a free To He making workshop at Nguyen Hong branch. To He is a kind of Vietnamese traditional art in which you’ll create colorful creatures from rice flour. it’s fun and suitable for any age. An instructor will guide you through every step until you’ve got a final product. Also in this occasion, you are presented a buy-1-get-1 voucher when you participate in the event or buy their Mid-Autumn set. They also have a small exhibition of Vietnamese traditional toys inside, don’t forget to check them out. #coffee #traditional #art #toy

CAFÉ AGURI

#favouritecafe Japan, minimalist space is quite cozy. The area of the shop is not too large, so the shop also arranges quite a few tables and chairs so that the space is not cramped. The shop has a small loft area with a mini projector to watch movies, which is quite good, sitting and gathering with friends is great. I like sitting in the outdoor area, especially on sunny and warm days like this sitting and chilling, watching the beautiful streets of Hanoi at the end of the year. The shop's menu is diverse, with many new drinks, this shop invests a lot in coffee, but it's a pity that I didn't have breakfast that day so I didn't have a chance to try it. I tried Houjicha, it was okay, I liked both the space and the food. Address: 3 VAN MIEU, DONG DA, HANOI

#vietnamtrip The rice wines here are potent! Fun place, especially when a train passes by within an arms reach of your table! Be brave and try the bizarre wine flavours (including porcupine stomach and gecko). Prices here are slightly above normal. To find the place you might have to walk along the tracks - seems dodgy but don't worry, the locals do it all the time.
