Nam xay viewpoint at Vangvieng Laos

Nam Xay Viewpoint in Vang Vieng is the best spot for one of Laos’s most breathtaking views. From the top, you will get unbeatable views of jagged limestone cliffs, lush forests and rice fields. After a 30 minute intermediate hike, you will reach the top, where you are almost guaranteed peace and quiet, as well as an amazing photo opportunity with a motorbike, which was mysteriously placed there by the locals. But before you start taking photos, catch your breath and relax in the hammock. #laos #viewpoint

Beautiful Cafe in Vang Vieng - Naked Espresso Vang Vieng

Location: Naked Espresso Vang Vieng Atmosphere: There are relatively few coffee shops in Vang Vieng, and this one is quite famous. The coffee tastes great, and the shop is beautiful with a gray concrete tone and yellow paint. There are plenty of seats, and the interior decoration is lovely. It's worth checking in, taking photos, and relaxing after exploring nature. If you visit Vang Vieng, I highly recommend it. Location: Unnamed Road, Vang Vieng, Laos

Wanrong Wat Temple| A treasure temple hidden in the outdoor paradise

Wanrong Wat Temple| A treasure temple hidden in the outdoor paradise

| A treasure temple hidden in the outdoor paradise.📍Detailed address: Wat Temple 🌈Highlights: On a sunny afternoon, strolling around the streets of Wanrong, I accidentally walked to Wat Temple, which is also a Theravada Buddhist temple. The door is open, free to visit, and I am the only tourist in the temple, and the monks are very leisurely. The area of Wat Temple is not large, but several halls and Buddha statues are very gorgeous. There are several reclining Buddhas in the yard, in a very relaxed state, giving people a sense of tranquility and peace. It is said that in addition to being a temple, it also serves as a school. At noon, there are many children in the main hall, some are resting, some are worshiping the Buddha, and several Buddha statues in the yard are shining in the sun, shining golden light, a scene of peace and tranquility. 🚗Address and transportation: Walk from the town center, about ten minutes. 🎫Ticket information: Free. ✨Tips: Respect local customs, dress appropriately, and take off your shoes when entering the temple.

Hiking and rock climbing in Vang Vieng

Vang Vieng is bordered by creepy karst landforms and picturesque limestone outcrops. This means that rock climbing is a popular pastime in Vang Vieng, though you will need some rock climbing experience as well as a strong level of physical condition to do so safely. If you wish to try rock climbing, make sure you do it with one of the town's well-established rock climbing schools. Insist on suitable safety equipment, which you should inspect before beginning your climb. #popularswing#summervacationtravel#naturalwonders#roadtrip#summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Tubing into the cave

#passionpassport Tham Nam (Water Cave) is the highlight of the cluster of caves in Vang Vieng, Laos. The inner chamber runs for some 500 meters and the Nam Song River has a small offshoot that trickles through the cave. If you visit during the rainy season you can tube inside the cave, although in the dry season the water levels are usually too low to do this. As you go through the cave you can check out the stalagmites and stalactites, rock crystals and cave dwelling critters. When the water is higher you need to take a tube near the entrance; the tube and headlamp are included in the entrance fee. #vangvieng #solotravel#grouptravel

Pha Ngern View Point Top (Hiking, Vang Vieng)

Address - Phone Ngeun, Laos (Vang Vieng) Highlights - Hiking, High view point, Need physical strength! Rating - 4/5 One of the activities to do in Vang Vieng is going hiking. There are many hiking places around Vang Vieng. One of these is the Pha Ngern View Point Top. I would say the hiking will take around 2-2.5 hours. The start of the journey is fine, if you walk fast, you can be able to reach the mid point where there are stones you can sit in 30-40 minutes. After that the hiking became tougher such as you need to climb up using the rope and walking on stone. But when you reach the view point, it will be the sweet point, there are people at the view point that is selling snacks and drinks. Also, there is a place where you can take a sit (from my first image). The tough part is not really taking pictures, as there are net below to protect you. But it is going down the mountain, it was so slippery. Although it wasn’t raining but it makes everything feel so scary. Note: Don’t hike when it’s raining! #scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#naturalwonders#hiking#nationalpark
