Name: BoatShed Cafe Location: 1A Heron Way, Hallett Cove SA 5158, Australia (40 min away from Adelaide CBD) Service: the service is really nice and really fast Foods/drink: the food was not too bad but it wasn’t anything too special for the price. A poached egg sandwich was $20 which is a lot for 1 sandwich. Atmosphere: the atmosphere is great. The view is amazing. The location couldn’t be better for a cafe. #tripblazers #urbanexplorer #tripblazers #beachlife #foodie #campingglamping

Classic simple meals

The food tastes so much better than other places and that’s probably due to the produce they use. My whole table was impressed. Food came out at a reasonable rate. There’s indoor seating or you can be out in the market itself. I ordered hashbrowns and the bacon and egg foccaia and it was huge. I also ordered a flat white. I'm a huge klutz and accidentally knocked it over before leaving. The folks at Zuma made me feel better about making a mess and even remade my drink for me. The service is impeccable and demonstrated so much of the Australian hospitality that I had heard about. I wouldn't hesitate to grab a bite to eat at Zuma Caffe again in the future. #australiatrip #classicfood #deliciousfood

Strolling around Adelaide city.

Strolling around Adelaide city.

#vianasjourney Maybe Adelaide wasn’t as busy as other AU cities but it’s honestly one of the easiest city to transport from one place to another. Most area accessible by public transportation either bus, tram or train. But walking around the city itself are enjoyable and fun. You can do a lot of shopping, dining and even many places you can take nice pictures for instagram especially during the nights. The lighting are really making the area more lively. Take note that if you wanna visit nearest area around the city, you may use the tram and use your own card for it as it’s also accepted visa and mastercard (info shared by station staff). There’s really no need to take the local card. But if you planning to travel further, a daily pass which cost 11.50 AUD are a better option.

Four-day Adelaide car-free travel guide

Four-day Adelaide car-free travel guide

Day1️⃣:Central Market—South Australia Gallery/Library/Museum—Hallet Cove 🏛️ Have breakfast at Central Market, you must try the Mussel from Si sea😋, fresh and juicy; Cumbia is also delicious, especially the Crab pasta and honey squid🍝, but these two are only available for lunch after 12 o'clock😕. Picture 3 is the coffee bean shop in the market☕️, I had a special Greek coffee, it's amazing👌, the milk foam is delicate, the coffee is rich, the taste is just right, a very special flavor😍. After eating and drinking, go to the South Australia Gallery🖼️, library📚 and museum🏛️. The Museum is boring😴, the Gallery is surprising and stunning😯, the famous 'Jealousy of Kalk' is hidden here, as well as the installation art of artists like Yayoi Kusama and Shiho Salt Field🎨, there is a special exhibition of Japan downstairs, picture 6 is more shocking to the naked eye😲. You can take the bus directly to Hallet Cove in the city, just search for the bus route on the map, dinner can be solved directly at the seaside restaurant, mediocre😋. Day 2️⃣:German Village—Carrick Hill 🏰 You can reach by round trip bus, you can take the bus back to the city from the German village, and then take a taxi to Carrick Hill🚕. Have lunch at The haus🍴, this place has better taste and presentation. (The big pork knuckle actually tastes average, it will be greasy and tiring to eat later, and don't buy souvenirs in the German village❗️The prices here are very expensive, and there are no very special souvenirs.) Carrick Hill's business hours are from 10:00 to 16:30 from Wednesday to Sunday, remember to leave enough time for the visit😉. Day3️⃣:Victor Harbor 🌊 We chose a day trip to Victor Harbor🚌, it is recommended to directly search for Victor Harbor Day trip, and then choose a cheap one. We met a very good local lady, she will tell us a lot of Adelaide's history and fun facts along the way👍. After arriving at Victor Harbor, it is better to buy a one-way horse carriage ticket🐴, so you can take the horse carriage to the island, and then walk back. We had seafood pizza at Nino's🍕, I personally think it tastes very good, my friend and I ate a whole pizza in one go😋. Day4️⃣:Penfolds Winery—Pink Lake 🍷 Bought a Chinese-led day trip on 🍑, the leader sister is very nice, but Penfolds Winery is boring😴. Pink Lake is not in season now, it's better to go in September and October👍, the penultimate picture is the pinkest one we saw in the lake, and we can't stop, the last one is the current situation of the Pink (White) Lake without filter, many Pink Lake photos on xhs are color-adjusted📸. Overall, the four-day car-free tour of Adelaide is very worth a visit, with urban culture, gourmet sea views, historical buildings, and beautiful coastlines and natural scenery🌅.

Classic

I visited Zuma cafe several times for comfort food. Mostly breakfast hours and I loved their classic stuff involving has browns and bacon. Got some of their sandwiches too. They are friendly people and I always had good experiences. Another thing, our food orders never took more than 10 minutes to arrive. My coffee was always hot and I was able to enjoy it with a delicious eggs and bacon. It may look like very simple on the outside but these guys know how to cook well and the food always tasted good. Price wise out breakfasts never went above 40 dollars. I know that is not very cheap, but not very expensive either. Just a fair priced place that does good food. #australiatrip #goodfoods #adelaide

great service

On arrival we were greeted with sparkling water (at no additional cost) for our party of 5. We didn’t book so we were extremely lucky to get a table. It was a Tuesday so I would recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment as it became quite busy. The food came out super fast and the service was friendly. The meals were substantial and filled our bellies. We felt like we were eating at a local cafe instead of the CBD as the city noise was minimal. Glad we stumbled into this wonderful cafe. Highly recommend a visit. #australiatrip #familytravel
