Chihuly Garden and Glass: A Dreamy Art Palace Made of Glass

📍Chihuly Garden and Glass is located at 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109, USA. It is conveniently located near the famous Space Needle, making it easy for visitors to visit both attractions in one trip. The area has a temperate maritime climate, which is mild and humid with distinct seasons, so you can experience its unique beauty no matter when you visit.🌈 💎The art garden covers an area of over 6,000 square meters and is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor exhibits mainly feature works by Dale Chihuly, including glass artworks, drawings, and architectural facilities. The outdoor exhibition area is even more spectacular, with a 4-meter-high, 400-square-meter glass exhibition hall displaying a 30-meter-long suspended sculpture made of 1,400 pieces of glass. There is also a large, dreamlike work called the Glasshouse, inspired by the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris and the Crystal Palace in London. The giant flowers on the roof are made of red, orange, yellow, and amber, extending over 30 meters, creating a fairytale-like scene. In addition, the "Glass Garden," "Flower Arrangements and Floating Boats Series," "Sea Life Tower," and "Chandeliers" are all highly artistic and visually appealing.😻 🎫Tickets for adults are priced at USD 35 on weekdays and USD 37.5 on weekends. It is recommended that visitors purchase tickets online in advance, as they may be able to enjoy some discounts.🧾 🚇Transportation is also very convenient. Take the monorail to Seattle Center Station and walk to the art garden. If you have already visited the Space Needle, you can also choose to walk there and enjoy the street view of Seattle along the way.🚶 😉There are also some things to keep in mind during your visit. No flash photography or tripods are allowed inside the museum, and no food or drink is allowed. However, there is a restaurant called Collections Café in the garden, which is open daily from 11:00 to 17:00 (10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays and Sundays), where visitors can dine.🍔 📸This place is a paradise for photography enthusiasts. Each glass artwork is like a beautiful sculpture, showing different charms under different lights and angles. Whether it is the colorful lights indoors or the crystal-clear fusion with the natural environment outdoors, it is worth capturing with your camera.🤳 💡After visiting Chihuly Garden and Glass, you will be amazed by Dale Chihuly's whimsical creativity. Each glass artwork is not just a combination of glass, but a condensation of art, a profound understanding and expression of life, nature, and culture. If you are planning a trip to Seattle, be sure not to miss this place full of fantasy and artistic charm!💕

Discover a Dreamy Lakeside Home in Seattle

Discover a Dreamy Lakeside Home in Seattle

During my trip to Seattle, I found a hidden gem: a mid-century style house at 7809 S Sunnycrest Rd. After staying there, it became my "white moonlight" (a Chinese term for something you love but can't have). 🌟 Unique style with a long-lasting charm. Stepping inside, I felt like I was transported back to medieval Seattle. The wooden ceiling beams and vintage tiles, combined with simple geometric decorations, exude a sense of history. The creaking wooden floors tell stories of the past, while the modern furniture blends in perfectly, offering comfort and style. 🌊 The view outside is breathtaking. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the clear lake, where the morning sun glistens like gold on the water. At dusk, the sunset paints the lake red, and wild ducks play, creating a dynamic painting. The changing seasons bring different charms to the lakeside, whether vibrant or elegant, all captivating. The large windows offer an unobstructed view of the lake, where the morning sun gently wakes you up, and the shimmering water looks like gold foil. In the evening, the sunset casts an orange veil over the lake, and wild ducks swim, blending the water and sky into a peaceful painting. The seasons change, offering different flavors: spring flowers by the lake, winter snow on floating ice. 🛏 The living experience is also top-notch. The room layout is clever, with spacious and open spaces and reasonable storage. The kitchen is well-equipped, making cooking a breeze. At night, lying on the soft bed, the only sound is the gentle lapping of the lake, like a natural lullaby for a good night's sleep. The surrounding facilities are complete, with supermarkets and pharmacies just a few minutes' drive away, ensuring a worry-free life. The host is warm and attentive, answering questions and providing travel tips. The house is spotless, with attention to detail. This home is a safe haven during the journey and an unforgettable highlight of the Seattle trip. If you're planning a trip to Seattle, don't miss this lakeside gem.

Let me tell you why Washington Should Be Your Next Christmas Vacation

#holidayseason Looking for a holiday escape where you can frolic in snow, stuff your face, and pretend you’re in a Hallmark movie? Washington State has you covered. Here’s why it’s basically Santa’s second home: 1. Mountains That Make You Feel Like a Snow Globe Model The Cascade Mountains in winter are so dreamy, you’ll wonder if you accidentally walked into a postcard. Whether you’re shredding down Stevens Pass or face-planting on your first snowshoe adventure at Mount Rainier, the mountains are pure winter magic. Plus, you can show off your snowy Instagram pics and pretend you’re a hardcore mountaineer (no one needs to know you spent most of the time sipping hot cocoa). 2. A Town That Took “Christmas Cheer” Way Too Seriously Leavenworth is like a Bavarian village that got smacked with a Christmas wand. The whole town lights up—literally—with so many holiday lights it might be visible from space. Carolers serenade you, markets tempt you with goodies, and there’s mulled wine everywhere. It’s impossible not to feel festive unless you’re a full-time Grinch. 3. Seattle’s Got Holiday Spirit… and Coffee In Seattle, you can ice skate under the city lights, shop for quirky gifts at Pike Place Market, and caffeinate yourself into a holiday frenzy. Bonus: the Space Needle gives you a perfect excuse to tell your friends you’ve “gone somewhere iconic.” Pro tip: avoid trying to hang your stocking on it. Washington in December is all about snow, twinkle lights, and holiday vibes. Pack your ugly Christmas sweater and prepare for the festive overload—you won’t regret it!

Colorful winter - Seattle

Colorful winter - Seattle

This is an instant photo taken while taking a walk today. The purpose of sharing it is to show friends and tourists the unexpected scenery of winter in Seattle, North America. The green lawn under the blue sky and white clouds, clusters of red fruits on the trees, and birds leisurely foraging on the grassland. Seattle's winter should have snow, but what's happening now?

Roadtripping From Sanfranisco - Seattle

One of my most unforgettable trip is doing a solo road trip from San Francisco up towards Seattle. It is one of the longest drive I ever did, with a total of almost 13hours that is if u drive straight. Well it took me 2 days, a 8 hour drive on the first day and another 6 hours the next. Solo driving on a trip like this can be really tiring but it can be enjoyable too if you plan it right! From San Francisco I did a stop over in a small town called crescent city which I had a short night stay overlooking the sea to relax myself for the next day. And the scenery can also be quite beautiful if you take the time to stop and look around. And if you like the cold weather plan your trip closer to winter but not in Feb - March as it can be really snowy and icy which some roads might possibly be block too! This is one fun and adventurous solo road trip I've ever done! #solotravel #roadrtrip #driving #seattle #sanfrancisco #holiday #america #naturalwonders #YOLO #passionpassport

I stayed with my sisters for a week. I'll come again next time. It's so comfortable.

I stayed with my sisters for a week. I'll come again next time. It's so comfortable.

I was attracted by the modern and cozy decoration of the lobby. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and professional, and the check-in process was quick and efficient, allowing me to relax almost immediately. The room design is simple and modern, featuring Hilton's signature "Hampton Bed" standard double-patented mattress and eco-certified bedding, ensuring my sleep quality throughout my stay. The room is equipped with high-speed wireless internet, which is very important to me as I need to handle some urgent work emails. In addition, other facilities in the room, such as a flat-screen TV, coffee machine, and work desk, are all very complete, meeting all my needs. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also impressive. The restaurant offers a wide variety of choices, from hot dishes to cold cuts, from fresh fruits to healthy grains. The food quality is high, and the taste is very good, allowing me to start a new day of exploration with full energy every day. In addition to the basic accommodation facilities, I particularly like the hotel's fitness center. Although I didn't have time to experience the fitness center and indoor swimming pool during this trip, I could see through the room window that they were well-maintained and looked very attractive. In addition, the hotel also has a business center, providing a convenient office environment for business people like me. In terms of location, the Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle Northgate is close to many important landmarks, such as the Detroit Zoo and Ford Field, making it extremely convenient for travel or watching games. In addition, there are many restaurants and shopping centers around the hotel, providing us with many dining and entertainment options. Overall, the Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle Northgate offers a comfortable and convenient accommodation experience. Whether in terms of service quality, accommodation conditions, or location, I would highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting the Detroit area in the future.

Seattle Central Library

Seattle Central Library

Because it was raining in Seattle that day, I happened to see the library located in the city center on the map and was attracted by its appearance, so I walked in. 🌟Highlight features: The Seattle Public Library in the United States is a famous deconstructivist building with eleven floors made of glass and steel. This 34,000 square meter public library houses about 1.45 million books and other materials. You can also overlook the downtown Seattle landscape from the top floor, making it a great place for both relaxation and learning. 📍Detailed address: 1000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 🕙Business hours: Monday to Wednesday: 10:00-20:00; Thursday to Saturday: 10:00-18:00; Sunday: 13:00-17:00. 🍲Recommended dish: Coming out of the library, I saw a small restaurant called Red Bowls nearby. There was a long line at the door at noon, so out of curiosity, I went in. The owner is a Japanese person, and basically all the dishes are rice with various kinds of seafood, and the portion is really generous! Because the seafood is also very fresh, especially the ones from the nearby sea, highly recommended!
