Inns in Jilin, China

If I had to describe it, I'd say it was a pleasant surprise! The location on Fazhan Road's food street is super convenient for dining out. Directly across the street is Jinmutou BBQ, and Jeonju Bibimbap is just a few minutes' walk away. A taxi to Yanbian University's famous 'internet-famous wall' is only 6 yuan and takes about five minutes. The service was very attentive; we received complimentary fruits and drinks, and the front desk staff even provided us with various local guides. But the highlight truly was the comfortable room, exactly as described: smart Hans bathroom fixtures, a Dyson hairdryer, a Kingkoil mattress, and smart home features. My friend and I were both very satisfied – this is definitely a must-stay in Yanji!

Second stop on my Northeast China tour: Jilin's Wusong Island. Aren't the heated kangs on Wusong Island, which cost just over 100 yuan, more delicious than those in Xuexiang (Snow Town) that cost over 1,000 yuan? The food and accommodations were excellent, and there were two grandmothers helping me with childcare. In the mornings, my husband even drove me to the Wusong Island—a true personal butler service! [Eat melon] (Late risers don't deserve to see the Wusong Island). I wore a large, flowery Northeastern jacket, built cabbage and corn snowmen, strolled along the Songhua River, and enjoyed sweet and sour pork and all-you-can-eat frozen pears and persimmons... On to the next stop! [Proud]

A nice guesthouse run by an elderly couple. We stayed twice for one night while waiting for a connecting flight. It's a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. The room is small, but everything is clean and tidy, with fresh linens. You can leave your luggage after checkout, and we spent some time exploring the city before our return flight. We checked in quite late because our flight arrived late, but that wasn't a problem. The only inconvenience was that the cafes within walking distance of the hotel close early in the evening.

The environment is pleasant and refreshing. It's spotlessly clean, making life beautiful – a truly reliable hotel. The service, especially at the front desk, is exceptional. You can go to them for anything; they are patient and incredibly helpful. Everyone should seek out Nana at the front desk; this kind and lovely girl deserves a special shout-out for her fiery enthusiasm. There's also a young man with glasses who is very kind, helping with all our bags. The breakfast is also great, very tasty, and the room is super comfortable. Opening the window reveals natural scenery, where you can even spot little squirrels 🐿️.

It was an ideal stay. The autumn in Changbai Mountain is so cool that you have to wear long johns at night. I called the boss in advance to ask for advice. The boss reminded me to bring autumn clothes and jackets, otherwise I would have to suffer from the cold if I don’t go to the main peak of Tianchi. It was already evening when we checked in, and the boss was still waiting for us. We were very touched. Due to the off-season, there were not many people, but the boss still served us enthusiastically. The mountain climbing went smoothly the next day. The weather was very good, and we could go up the mountain as soon as possible. It’s convenient. When you come back, you can get off at the forest farm and go back to the ticket gate to verify it and you can get 25 meters back. In the evening, we asked the boss to book hot spring tickets. It was very helpful. The boss can give you a discount when booking. It’s expensive to go out. Save money, save money, the boss is also very attentive and considerate. In short, it is very convenient to go up the mountain and soak in the hot springs.

Rime Island B&B is not much different. The biggest feature of this B&B is that the owner is very enthusiastic. He gets up every morning to see if there is fog. If there is rime, he personally leads the way to various points to see the rime. The rime on Rime Island and the ten thousand silver threads in Jilin Each tree has its own characteristics. There are many old trees on Rime Island with strange shapes. Some of them grow in the vast farmland and are very conspicuous. Secondly, this is a toilet. So if you want to see rime, you should go to Risong Island once and experience the Northeast Big Kang.

The room is very clean and warm, which is beyond my understanding of B&B. The owner is very enthusiastic and feels like returning home. I was lucky to see rime when I took photos of the Northeast version. Little Potato likes it very much. I will come again if I have the chance to bring my children.

Very clean, the owner is very helpful. For such fee charged, can't really complain. Pls ask the owner to arrange car to drop you to wusong island for a more comfortable travelling (10 yuan / peson back and forth). She can also arrange a taxi to pick you up from her inn to jilin city/ jilin railway. And must try her Manchu hotpot. Good portion and comforting. Better to bring your own towel though. They provide a mini compress towel which might not be convenient.

We had the most amazing time at Zhao Si Inn! Mr. Zhao, the owner of the Inn, was the most amazing host. The inn is very warm, welcoming, and very clean. Mr. Zhao also drove us out to see the night scenery at Wusong Island main area, where there were fireworks, fire performances. Afterwards, we had an amazing hotpot dinner at the Inn. The following morning, he took us to see the most incredible sunrise with the icy white Wusong trees lined up. After a hearty and delicious breakfast back in the Inn, he kindly drove us to the main area again, where there were so many fun activities for our whole family (including a young child). Mr. Zhao shared with us his deep knowledge of the area and is the most passionate and gracious Inn owner. We can't wait to go back again!
