\Glamping Records/ ⁡ This time, I've put together a record of my visit to Mökki -stardust glampimg-, a glamping facility in Achi Village, Nagano. ◎ ⁡ This all-inclusive facility features a bath, kitchen, dining area, and restrooms, and the BBQ dinner was absolutely amazing! ⁡ It's not really camping anymore (lol), but having everything you need and being able to relax in your room is a big plus! ⁡ They also offer a service where you can enjoy marshmallows around a bonfire outside, which was very satisfying. ◎ ⁡ The stars are beautiful at night.✴︎ ⁡ I highly recommend mökki. Please check it out! 💖 #JapanTravelGuide #Glamping

Nagano's paradise is now in full bloom. From early April to early May, as spring deepens, Route 256 connecting Ina Valley and Kiso Valley transforms into a breathtaking landscape adorned with hanamomo (flowering peach trees) 🌸. During this period, beautiful hanamomo trees line the road for about 40 kilometers, showcasing a vibrant array of blossoms. Due to the difference in elevation, the flowers bloom sequentially from lower areas to higher altitudes, allowing for an extended viewing period 🥹✨. A particularly recommended spot is Hirugami Onsen Village, where approximately 200 hanamomo trees bloom magnificently along the Achigawa River and around the Morning Market Square. As the cherry blossoms finish blooming, these hanamomo trees begin to bloom one after another, captivating visitors ✨✨✨. In 2024, there are plans for stalls selling hanamomo saplings and local food, offering a deeper taste of the region's charm! Additionally, Hirugami Onsen boasts convenient accommodations, making it an ideal environment to leisurely enjoy the hanamomo. Staying at Hirugami Onsen provides a perfect opportunity to indulge in the area's natural beauty and hot springs while spending a graceful springtime ☺️. Japan is not only famous for its cherry blossom spots, but also for its renowned hanamomo, or flower peaches. In the Tsukigawa Onsen area of Nagano Prefecture's Achi Village, there is an incredibly dreamy 'Hanamomo no Sato' where a single tree can have blossoms in three colors. The tri-colored hanamomo bloom in an S-shape across the hills, creating a spectacular sight. Achi Village is known as Japan's number one peach blossom paradise. The village is tranquil and simple, yet filled with flowering peach trees, cherry blossoms, and other flowers. Every spring, the hills turn into a dreamy pink, resembling a heavenly wonderland! 'Hanamomo no Sato' features a path lined with 5,000 hanamomo trees, with petals in peach red, white, and pink. A single tree can produce blossoms in three colors, which is quite unique! The village has at least 10,000 hanamomo trees in total.

Date of photo: 2023.4.23 Spot: Hanamomo no Sato Address: Chiri, Achi Village, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture 395-0304 About 90 minutes from Nagoya on the Chuo Expressway. Right next to Sonohara Interchange. Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture, is known as the village with the most beautiful starry sky in Japan. Here, from mid-April to early May, many flowering trees called hanamomo bloom beautifully. There are more than 5,000 of them. Achi Village has planted many "sanshoku hanamomo" trees that bloom in three colors: red, white, and pink. It is an unusual flowering tree that blooms with flowers of different colors on one tree. It is said that it has not yet been clarified why different colored flowers bloom on the same tree.

🌸Hanamomo no Sato, Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture🌸 Located in Nagano Prefecture near Gifu Prefecture, multiple colored flowers bloom from a single tree, and it's my favorite place because it's more beautiful than cherry blossoms. Achi Village is famous for its stars. I wasn't able to see them due to time constraints, but I'd like to visit Achi Village again someday to see the best starry sky in Japan. #Hanamomo no Sato #A trip to enjoy spring #Supporting tourism #Amazing view#Hanami

From the summit, you can see stars everywhere you look, 180 degrees: Takamine Observatory, Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture Even in the photo, you can see this amount of stars...! In reality, there were even more 🥺 You can see shooting stars every second. The road to the summit is steep with many curves, and it's cold at the summit even in summer, but it's beautiful nonetheless 🌟 #Breathtaking view

If you're looking for a slow-paced travel destination and a place to photograph breathtaking, unique, and colorful mountain scenery with vibrant autumn foliage in Japan, then you absolutely must visit Heavens Sonohara in Nagano Prefecture. This place transforms a valley and ski area into a paradise of changing forest colors, boasting stunning views from a cable car that ascends through thick fog, stretching along the wide horizon. Alongside it is a carpet of vibrant yellow, orange, and red autumn leaves. Open-air chairlifts traverse fields of crimson wildflowers, and lodges nestled in the lush pine forest offer truly magnificent, soothing, and relaxing scenery. Highlights of the trip and masterpiece photo spots: · Panoramic cable car ride through the mist and carpet of colorful forest: A landmark photo spot that is an international icon of the park. The level view shows the silver cable car moving past the carved sandstone cliffs. The bright morning sunlight illuminates the colorful foliage around the hills, creating a vibrant effect. The shade of the cedar forest adds to the tranquil atmosphere, allowing the cool, damp breeze to blow against the clear blue sky. The resulting photos are guaranteed to be the most stunning and luxurious of the trip. · Open-air chairlifts crisscrossing fields of red flowers and a classic wooden observation deck: A slow-life highlight for portrait photography enthusiasts is the long stretch of single chairlifts ascending the hill. The area below is eye-catching with its vibrant red flower beds. The soft sunlight highlights the crimson wooden control building, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I got some really impressive vertical travel photos that tell a fascinating story! 💡 Things to know and tips for travelers: · A masterpiece of autumn foliage and sea of clouds viewpoint along the mountain range: Heavens Sonohara. The park layout and safety measures, including secure walking paths and iron fences, are well-designed. Besides the cable car ride, it's also famous for having one of the most beautiful Milky Way views at night in Japan. The stunning scenery and autumn colors, as shown in the photos, are at their peak during the autumn season (October – November) each year. · Tips: Because the natural area is a high, open mountain valley with low, cold, and humid temperatures, you should prepare a thick winter coat, hat, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes. We recommend wearing light and simple colors, such as a white dress or pastel-toned clothing, which will beautifully contrast with the colorful orange and red hues of nature. #HeavensSonohara #HeavensSonohara #AchiVillage #NaganoPrefecture #NaganoTravel #JapanAlps #JapanRopeCable #JapaneseAutumnLeaves #RedFlowerFields #NatureTravel #TravelReview

If you're planning a trip to see the starry sky in Achi Village, a whole-house rental on weekdays is highly recommended for university student groups! 🌌 In fact, many university student groups using this option are taking stargazing tours to Achi Village! Enaya Nakatsugawa can accommodate up to 9 adults. Unlike a hotel where rooms are separated, you rent the entire house, allowing everyone to gather in the living room. And it seems to be a great deal on weekdays! If your group is thinking: "I want to go to Achi Village," "I want to stay with friends," "I'd like to stay cheaply if possible," then consider this option! 📌

📅 Travel Itinerary Day 1: Lunch in Nagahama, Shiga @ Torikita Try the classic Oyakodon and definitely the Kashiwa Nabe too. It was absolutely delicious 😋 Headed toward Achi Village, arriving in the evening. Took a stroll around our accommodation, Kichiya. Day 2: After checking out, passed through Lake Suwa SA and headed to Kirigamine. Took in the breathtaking views of the majestic mountains, traveled via Lake Shirakaba and Ueda in Shinshu, and arrived at Yudanaka Onsen at 4:30 PM. Public baths at neighboring Shibu Onsen are only open to day-trippers until 5:00 PM, so we had to pass on that. We just enjoyed a walk through the charming, traditional streets before heading back to our inn in Yudanaka for the night. Day 3: Had a light breakfast of assorted breads and coffee, then checked out and headed back to Osaka. 🏨 Accommodations 🍴 Gourmet Spots 📌 Useful Information

We took a trip to Nagano on April 20, 2026. Along the drive, the entire route was beautifully lined with peach blossoms in three colors: white, pink, and red, which is exactly why it's called Hanamomo Kaido (Peach Blossom Route). Originally, we planned to visit Hanamomo no Sato, a popular stop for everyone traveling this way. However, seeing the heavy traffic, we decided to skip it and keep driving. As it turned out, the entire road was overflowing with peach blossoms! Eventually, we stumbled upon a breathtaking photo spot with endless views that rivaled Hanamomo no Sato. It was just a short drive past the main spot, with a village situated on the right side. It was uncrowded and absolutely perfect for photography enthusiasts like us. After our photo stop here, we continued our drive and saw beautiful peach blossoms lining the road the whole way—truly living up to the name Hanamomo Kaido (Peach Blossom Route). 📸 The spot where we took these photos is located along the Seinaiji River in the Seinaiji area, Achi Village, Shimoina District, in southern Nagano Prefecture. It's right on the way to Tsumago-juku village. trip

As the streetlights flicker on, the roadside food stalls come alive. The charcoal on the grill glows red hot, and the ingredients sizzling on top slowly begin to render their fat. Drops of oil hit the coals, sparking little bursts of blue flame. The vendor flips the skewers non-stop, sprinkling seasoning evenly as the mouth-watering aroma drifts far into the warm evening breeze. Passersby simply can't help but stop when the scent hits them. Handed a freshly grilled skewer, you take a bite—the outside is perfectly charred and smoky, while the inside remains tender and juicy. The savory spices have soaked right through, and a subtle kick of heat spreads across your tongue, getting more delicious with every chew. A group of boys, fresh from a basketball game, gather around the stall, eating and re-enacting their moves on the court, completely ignoring the sweat dripping down their faces. A few girls getting off work stroll by with skewers in hand, happily munching and raving about the flavors. The warm glow of the charcoal fire illuminates everyone's faces. This down-to-earth street food doesn't need fancy packaging; it captures everyone's taste buds with its raw, irresistible aroma, injecting a burst of vibrant energy into an ordinary night.

Hold up 😍—this isn’t sakura or cherry blossoms, this is 花桃 (Hanamomo)! Hanamomo means flowering peach trees (Prunus persica), and they totally glow across Japan, but the real showstopper is Achi Village. Achi Village isn’t just about magical starry nights—it's officially crowned as Japan’s "Peach Blossom Paradise." We’re talking 5,000–10,000 peach trees, painting the landscape from mid-April to early May. Imagine strolling through a pastel wonderland IRL! 🌸✨ We kicked off our adventure with a self-drive from Matsumoto Station. Normally it's a 2-hour journey, but let’s be real—we took over 4 hours because every stop along the way was a literal postcard moment. If you're coming by train, Matsumoto Station’s address is 1-1 Fukashi, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, 390-0815. For the overnight vibes, we stayed near Hirugami Onsen, a classic hot spring village known for beauty-boosting waters. Soaking in those onsens with fresh alpine air and pure chill energy? Soooo good! ✨ Hirugami Onsen is open year-round and is located at 332-1 Chisato, Achi-mura, Shimoina-gun, Nagano 395-0304. What really made the trip next-level? The welcoming locals, peaceful atmosphere, and total escape from the city hustle. This was honestly one of our most unforgettable holidays—Hanamomo blossoms, epic stargazing, silky onsen soaks… Yes, please! If you want to discover this peachy paradise for yourself, check out trip.com for the best stays and road trip inspo. Your best springtime getaway is calling! 🚗🗾💖 #HirugamiOnsen

I took a trip to Hirugami Onsen in Minami-Shinshu, Nagano Prefecture! It features a spacious lobby and a gorgeous courtyard! The food was absolutely delicious, too 😆✨ The hot springs are known for their skin-beautifying properties, and they really left my skin feeling incredibly smooth 😊✨✨✨ Even days later, my skin still felt silky, proving just how amazing the effects of the spring water are! The open-air baths even include a cave bath, and getting to watch a waterfall while soaking is simply the best! Both the hot springs and the food were fantastic! But what’s even better is the Achi River flowing right next to the hotel. It's so beautiful, and you can even walk down the bank to sit right by the water. Between the stunning scenery and the soothing murmur of the river, the whole experience was completely refreshing 😆✨

Whether you're using a smartphone or a professional camera, you'll capture incredibly dreamy, ethereal photos. Flower-Viewing Itinerary Tips: 1. The prime time for flower viewing is usually late April to early May. Setting out early helps you beat the crowds and snap beautiful, photobomb-free pictures. 2. Some sections of the hiking trails are quite narrow and have steep inclines. It’s highly recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket, as the mountain weather can get pretty chilly. 3. Cell service in the valley can be spotty. If you want to post and share your photos on the spot, consider downloading maps in advance or bringing a portable Wi-Fi/data SIM card. 4. Glamping lovers absolutely shouldn't miss the stargazing experience at mokki ~STARDUST GLAMPING~. Availability is tight, so booking online well in advance is highly recommended. Things to Note: · The blooming period can vary slightly from year to year. Located in the Enjarod area, Achi Village is a recreational destination known for its natural beauty. The village has clear streams with large and small stones scattered in the water, coupled with the reflection of sunlight, the entire painting is colorful, as if you are in a fairy tale world. The environment of Achi Village is very simple, surrounded by mountains and the air is particularly fresh. It is definitely an ideal choice to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Route and must-do suggestions: Travelers are advised to start a slow walk from the entrance of the village, starting with a tour along the stream to enjoy the natural views and take photos. The stones and water form different layers of light and shadow, especially spectacular on sunny days. It is recommended to have suitable non-slip shoes ready for walking along the stream. In addition, there are several trails near the village, some of which allow you to go deep into the forest and feel the tranquility in the forest.
The village requires no tickets and free admission, perfect for families or a relaxing stroll with friends. Check-in spot recommendation: 1. Stream Stony Beach - The most popular photo spot, the sun shines down on the water with flashing colors and the lush mountains in the background, perfect for selfies or group photos. 2. Wooden bridge in front of the village - looking over from the bridge you can take pictures of the entire stream view, most romantic at sunset. 3. Woodland Path - Sunlight penetrates the leaves and shines on the ground, feeling fantastic. Practical tips: 1. It is not recommended to go in rainy days, the stream water volume becomes larger plus the stone surface is wet and slippery, walking to pay attention to safety. 2. Achi Village in Nagano Prefecture is famous for its beautiful starry skies! Did you know that Namiai Park, a park for stargazing, is located in the village? On a clear day at the end of October, I was able to enjoy a star-filled sky. 🌠 And, amazingly, I even saw more than three shooting stars! [How to Enjoy✨] · Join one of the two stargazing events (approximately an hour) held daily to learn about the stars, listen to stories about the constellations, and enjoy the view. Afterward, you're free to spend any time you like in the park until closing time. The park closes at midnight from April to December, and at 10:00 PM from January to March. · If you reserve the viewing deck, you can enjoy the stars in a private, walled space in the reclining seats provided. Have a wonderful time! [Caution⚠️] · Even in October, I needed a winter coat. 🥶 Check the temperature carefully beforehand and make sure you're prepared for the cold! By the way, you can rent down coats for a fee. · In the park areas other than the viewing deck, there are regular benches but no reclining seats. If you want to lie down and enjoy the starry sky, be sure to bring a picnic blanket with you. · Binoculars are available for rental, but we recommend bringing them if you have them!

Hirugami Onsen I stayed at the Yutari no Sato Inaka Hotel. Even the Emperor has stayed here, and there were photos of him there in the lobby. The parking lot was a bit tricky, slanted like a service area, and it was pretty full. There's a morning market and a free foot bath nearby, so I recommend strolling around the area. 🦵♨️ The autumn leaves right in front of the hotel entrance were a stunning red, and I think it was the most beautiful foliage I've seen this year. 🍁 The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options!

Hanaya Hotel Hot Spring Starry Romance Night To be honest, Achimura is known as "Japan's most beautiful starry sky"! 🌌 This time I chose to stay at Sunshin Onsen Four Seasons Weaver Flower House Inn, the location is superb, from the mountain you can directly overlook the entire Achi Village, it feels very healing. The inn has just renovated its lobby and features a special teahouse. Enjoy coffee ☕️ and Japanese green tea Ancha chill! The dinner was even more unforgettable - the chef grilled the Shinzhou beef sushi on the spot, which really left your teeth fragrant! Sooo fresh ~ The other ingredients are super fresh, completely satisfying all a foodie's fantasies 🍣🥩. The most special is the two large baths converted into private baths, green economy model, use to feel more noble and environmentally friendly, healing feeling up up! 🛁😄 The hotel staff is super enthusiastic, and will turn off all the peripheral lights at night, so that you can see the starry sky with zero pollution, great for taking pictures✨ Before leaving, I also got Nagano Prefecture packaged spring water. What a courtesy! ❤️ The overall experience was excellent and the Hanaya Hotel (530-1 Chisato, Achi-mura, Shimoina-gun) is definitely worth recommending to everyone. If you have the chance, you must come and stay for a night to experience the romantic starry night of Achi Village!

Just a 3-hour bus ride from Tokyo 🚍, Achi Village in Nagano Prefecture is renowned as the best place in Japan to view the stars. Here, we introduce a recommended hotel to stay at after enjoying the night sky ✨. 📍Address: 503-115 Chisato, Achi Village, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture 🏖 Atmosphere/Facilities: · Banquet hall, karaoke rooms, and open-air baths available · Smoking area located in the courtyard with beautiful views · Vending machines and a shop (including cup noodles 🍜) 👍 Pros: · The hot springs are spacious and of excellent quality, a must-visit twice a day♨️ (It's said that just one soak can make your skin feel three years younger! 😂) · Despite being a traditional inn, it is well-maintained and clean. · The nearby Achigawa River provides a cool breeze in summer. 👎 Cons: · Breakfast and dinner portions are on the smaller side. · The futons are thin, and it can get cold at night. (Warming up thoroughly in the hot springs is the only solution!) · Only two elevators, so there can be a bit of a wait. Average Price: From 15,000 yen~ Rating: ★★★/3

I want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take some time to calm myself down. But I also want to be stimulated when I travel. Nagano in Shinshu will grant you this wish. With its magnificent nature, deep history, and a treasure trove of culture that will make you gasp, there are plenty of reasons to satisfy your five senses. ⸻ ✅ 5 reasons to visit Nagano Prefecture 1. [Zenkoji is a place where anyone can be "saved"] Zenkoji, the symbol of Nagano City, is a rare temple that anyone can visit regardless of sect. It is said that if you touch the "lock of paradise" in the pitch black during the "Okaidan Meguri" tour under the main hall, you will be guaranteed a life in paradise. 2. [Actually a "hot spring kingdom"! Second in the nation in number of hot springs] Nagano is the second most hot springs prefecture in Japan after Hokkaido. Bessho Onsen, Shibu Onsen, Hirugami Onsen and other onsen hot springs are dotted around the area, perfect for a trip around the hot springs. 3. [A world-renowned starry sky] Achi Village is a village that has been recognized by the Ministry of the Environment as the place where the stars shine brightest in Japan. At Heavens Sonohara, a highland resort at an altitude of 1200m, you can experience a sky full of stars that you can almost reach out and touch. 4. [Why it's famous for its apple production, even though it's not the largest in Japan] Nagano's apples are second only to Aomori in production volume. However, they are highly rated for their "good taste" and "wide variety." In particular, "Shinano Sweet" and "Shinano Gold" are brand apples that originated in Nagano. 5. [Actually the "Jomon Kingdom"! The number of excavated items is the highest in Japan] Nagano Prefecture is one of the areas with the largest concentration of Jomon ruins in Japan. The national treasure clay figurines "Jomon Venus" and "Masked Goddess" were excavated from the Togariishi ruins in Chino City, and are cultural assets of a class comparable to those in the Tokyo National Museum. ⸻ 🧭Summary Nagano is not just "beautiful nature". A prefecture that embraces all the curiosity of travelers, from history and culture to healing and discovery. If you're looking for a "slightly deeper trip" for your next holiday, Nagano will surely exceed your expectations. #Nagano #DomesticTravel

#Register for June Hotel Sleep Tester 2025 In the early summer of 2025, I suddenly wanted to take a trip to Japan, just for the Kamikochi that I had longed for. It turns out that from Nagoya north, there are many beautiful scenery along the way, Shinho Plateau, Ride the Saddle Plateau, let you relax. The Oriental Alps, indeed, is well-deserved, the name of the river boy bridge with a bit of divine painting color, compared with the white snow-capped mountain peaks, the blue line of river water, is simply heaven and earth, making people intoxicated. There are snow walls to see on the Saddle Plateau in June! Although it is not as famous and great as Tateyama Kurobe, it is better than being high. You can still ski in June. The Japanese can really seize the last skiing time! On the way back, we went south via Matsumoto City and met the Achi Village Sunshin Onsen that surprised you. It's really a hidden village with gold. The hotel package also includes cherry picking. I couldn't be happier! I deliberately returned to Nagoya via Lake Hamana. Back in Nagoya, I went to Lego Park for a walk. The park made up of thousands of legos is magical and full of Japanese flavor. It made me regain my childhood. I went to Nagoya 4 times and finally got there! The most surprising thing was that I also came across the Yayoi Kusama polka dot bus, which looked like an oversized beetle moving! There are also three or two photos taken when I went to Zengcheng to pick litchis, the Sky Mirror and the famous Zengcheng hanging green litchi.
