Surrounded by greenery and mountain scenery, the resort’s colourful French-inspired architecture immediately catches your eye — pastel-coloured facades, timbered details, turrets, balconies and quaint village-style buildings that create a distinctly Alsatian atmosphere. What I enjoyed most was simply wandering around and taking in the architecture. The cobblestone-style walkways, colourful buildings and picturesque corners make it an especially photogenic spot. 📸🌿 The highland setting also gives the place a refreshing contrast to the tropical landscape that Malaysia is known for. The resort is inspired by Colmar, a beautiful town in Alsace, France, and the resemblance is particularly charming when viewed from the higher vantage points around the resort. Located in Sungai Isap, Kuantan, Pahang, Lufa Coffee has their own identity and it's personality- mysterious, dark, and enchanting. Manage to come by here for once, and it reminds me of my pleasant stay. It's my first time to Redang and it's a wonderful experience. The sandy beaches & scenic views were amazing. We went during Ramadan so there was practically no one there, just us another couple & a German tourist named Karen. It was Karen's 3rd time there. It was a peaceful & relaxing holiday. Staff was friendly & helpful. Would go again to see the sunrise, beautiful beaches & amazing sea life during snorkeling trips. Karen went out for diving sessions and saw sharks! The Sultan Abu Bakar Museum has a rich collection of historical items. Located on Jalan Sultan Ahmad, the museum showcases antiques that include many ancient Chinese pottery and glass items, as well as various other artefacts related to history, archaeology, ethnology, and royalty. Easy parking.

The boat ride takes roughly 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the sea conditions. 💰 Trip Cost Tour packages vary depending on the operator and inclusions, but prices generally start from around RM175 per person, excluding the Johor Marine Park fee and other additional charges. 🏝️ A quick stop at Raja Island Before reaching Seribuat Island, we made a short stop at Raja Island, a small island surrounded by shallow, crystal-clear waters. The scenery is beautiful, although the island unfortunately had quite a bit of litter left behind. ⛰️ The climb to Seribuat Island Standing at around 142 metres above sea level, Seribuat Island may not sound intimidating until you see the slope. With an incline of around 75 degrees, the climb is steep and requires proper footing. Ropes have now been installed along parts of the route to help hikers hold on, but some sections have loose sand, making the climb and descent slippery. Take your time and watch every step. 🌊 The reward at the top Reach the summit and you’ll be greeted by an incredible panorama — surrounding islands, Sembilang Island, smaller islands scattered across the sea, and the vast South China Sea stretching endlessly into the horizon. 🤿 The adventure doesn’t end at the summit After hiking, it’s time to cool down with snorkelling behind Seribuat Island, where the sea turns into a beautiful clear green. A quick escape to Kuantan turned into the perfect mix of good food, beach time and fun with everyone. We spent 3D2N at Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Kuantan, with almost everything planned within the resort — which made this trip super easy and relaxing. Day 1 started with hi-tea before checking in, followed by dinner, karaoke and a little celebration. Day 2 was definitely the highlight: breakfast, team activities, ATV, afternoon tea, beach volleyball and a BBQ dinner by the sea. Ending the night on the beach made it even more memorable. On our last morning, we kept things slow with breakfast and some final beach time before heading home. What I liked most was that we didn’t need to rush around Kuantan sightseeing. Just stay by the beach, eat, play, spend time together and enjoy the resort.
