The lush greenery, tranquil ponds, and diverse wildlife created a picturesque backdrop that felt like a scene from a fairytale. Each step on the trail brought new discoveries, from the gentle rustling of leaves to the melodic songs of birds. The peaceful atmosphere was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Capturing the beauty of this forest was a reminder of the simple joys that nature offers. Location : Apollo Bay Beech Forest It's around 200kms/2.5 hours from Melbourne CBD, 40kms/1 hour Apollo Bay. 2 Great hikes for any hike lovers. Hopetoun Falls: approx 200 steps down to the Falls which also include a viewing platform for those who decides not to talk down. Beauchamp Falls: 1.6-2km return walk with a well paved track. Strenuous walk due to a constant uphill and steps on the way back. Both hikes are only a 10/15mins drive away but do take note that Beauchamp Falls will require you to drive onto a dirt road for approx 3km to reach the carpark.
