Inside the scenic area, there are two waterfall spots: Meiren Shu Waterfall and the Grand Waterfall. The former is relatively low, while the latter is very spectacular. The mist from the Grand Waterfall is heavy, making it perfect for playing in the water during summer. Besides the two waterfalls, the rest of the scenery is average. The distance from the entrance to the innermost part of the park is about 4 km, taking roughly 1.5 hours on foot. The shuttle stop has a long staircase to climb, but other sections have no steep slopes. Chishui has several Danxia scenic spots, including the Grand Waterfall, Foguang Rock, and Swallow Rock, each requiring a drive and all within an hour from Chishui city. Besides the scattered scenic spots, transportation is a challenge since Chishui is far from Guiyang, unlike Huangguoshu which is much closer.
