Hi everyone! since there is no direct train from downtown Beijing to Mutianyu, passengers can get on the train at Beijing Railway Station and get off at Huairou Station. From Huairou Railway Station, you can always grab a cab or take a bus to Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area. The duration of the train is about 1 hour or you can use DiDi app to book your schedule. Relax with door-to-door private transportation to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu section is the most popular among foreign travelers. This is the most child-friendly section. Location: 73 kilometers (45 miles) from Beijing, 1½ hours drive A superb example of Great Wall fortifications, You will enjoy sightseeing,Hiking, cable cars up/down and cart railway down.The best season for over looking is Mid Autumn.
