Winter wonderland in Romania

Ceahlau National Park in Romania is the place to go in winter, if you want to feel like you are on your way from Westeros to the Wall in search of the Night King. We travelled from Bucharest down south to Ceahlau via train. It took 8 hours of scenic train ride. We were greeted by our cabin host that took us to the mountain. It was freezing cold. The next 3 days were amazing..there was nothing else to do than trying to keep warm. Either sit around a bonfire or walk. We decided to hike. This area is known for its legends of the Romanian ancestors. It is considered sacred. Therr are numerous mountain peaks, ridges and limestones. There are vere few to do in winter when snow is thick..hiking, skiing, cross-country, and bathing in the snow. #hiking #nationalpark #awesomepic #couplestrip
